Wings was written by Daesung and Gdragon, GD composed it for him after Daesung went through a tough time and he couldn't see himself on stage to look at his fans while performing. So, GD and Daesung came up with this song. Gwison was written and produced by GD for Daesung. It's a song that all ages can get up and just be happy while hearing this song. In case you don't know, GD will show up in the MVs of the Bigbang members if he had taken parts in it. Just few little informations.

The whole group went on the date. GD was a bit arrogant and Gwisun rejected him, Daesung tried to be charming like Seungri but she liked Seungri better. Then it turned out she wasn't the real "Princess" and the real girl was a more "standard" beauty. But GD was genuinely hurt by the rejection and both he and Daesung mourned her loss. Look at me Gwisun is of TROT genre. Its actually Korean folky type of music. Mainly loved by elderly, but there are lots of young people in this genre too. KANG DAESUNG is actually known as prince of trot - if he is not the only idol, he has to be one of the earliest idol to release trot single (he has another trot called DAEBAK). For the next Daesung marathon, i suggest you to include Daesung performance in Fantastic Duo, where he sang with his fans both GWISUN and DAEBAK. Daesung co-wrote Wings. It was written after hard times he gone through. Not break up as in the song. After TOP read the lyrics he said that now he see how nice Daesung's personality is, as he could write such a comforting lyrics and bright lyrics after what he gone through. "Better times will come. You are not suffering alone. Me too. Let's shout out louder. Let your pain out. And then smile. Everything will be gone" His voice do seem like a hug to me. He is really our smiling angel...and I never tired of telling people this.

I like Wing's version where he is actually with wings and flying around 😁 and about Look at me Gwisoon, i like Korean original version more. You could check his and his fan performance on Fantastic duo, Daesung such a good entertainer. Was so nice to see him in TV show after long years absence. Gwisoon is a name, and it's in "trot" stile (which like older people in Korea). That Fantastic duo episode was dedicated for trot stile and off camera you can watch it all or parts and there you will see other very popular trot singers to understand what kind of stile it is. Most of his solo songs are in Japanese and MV's all very slow songs, i like more to watch his live performance, because he is really fun. Deasung's tour guitarist is from band Megadeath.

the best thing about BigBang is that their solos are very different from each other and also as group. Daesung is the biggest in Japan when it comes to their solo, his mvs are short version coz Japan doesn't show in full version of official release from there, not sure if it's a personal preference of Dae or it's a rule in YG Japan. Look at me, Gwisun was a song composed by G-Dragon and he gave it to Daesung. The story behind was they were rejected (GD and Dae) by Gwisun, a participant in the show they were in, and picked Taeyang instead. GD wrote it on the spot and maybe developed and polished it years later.

Although DaeSung doesn't have any solo korean album, but fyi DaeSung aka D-Lite in Japan is super famous. His solo performance in Japan is super good that not much solo artist has achieve his result. He did concert tour in Japan four time, each concert is always bigger than the previous one. He even had a concert on Japan Dome in 2017. The last tour was made for his fans to see him closer, he made 40+ small concert for 1000 thousand max audiences each show. Every song he release always easily pop on Japan Oricon chart. He is just very humble, not much ppl get to know his amazing-ness. If this happen to any current solo artist, this may be something to brag for long time.

Hi! I really love Daesung's rocky and edgy sound when he is singing. Daesung suffered from throat issue since early of his career, vocal chord nodules. The doctor keeps telling him that he may lose his voice. He revealed this to us (VIPs) because he dont want to disappoint us that he may get off pitch when he sing. But tbh, Daesung never disappoint us even though he has this throat problem. How can he hit high notes if you have that issue? His the best. ANYMORE is my favourite song of him. Looking forward for Seungri's solos and Bigbang Concerts reaction.
