yay, bigbang! they have historically been a 5-member group, but are now 4 members after one member left. They haven't released any new music as a four-piece yet, though. Intros to bigbang: i'd recommend starting with Bang Bang Bang, then Fxxk It, then Bae Bae. For more GD&TOP, I'd recommend their song Knock Out. For TOP's solo work, check out Doom Dada. For GD's solo work, check out Crayon, Crooked and Bullshit to start. (note: the music videos for Knock Out and Bullshit are only available via unofficial sources). Also really worth checking out their live performances. Hope you enjoy! They are a lot of fun and I hope they come back soon. Rumours are they will return next year - they were supposed to have their big comeback at Coachella this year before it got cancelled :(

BIGBANG is a five member group and GD&TOP is one of the group's subunit. They like trying different genres with hip-hop being the main influence. Their 2012 song Bad Boy has that old school hip hop feel too. I think you'd like Bae Bae for how different it is. Most reactors start out with Bang Bang Bang or Fantastic Baby so I'd recommend watching their live performance of these two songs (there's a popular video titled BANG BANG BANG + FANTASTIC BABY + SOBER that you can check out) because they're known as kings of live stages Cafe is also my personal favourite! There's no MV for this so check out their live at MADE concert. Since this group has been around for 14 years now, it'll be better to listen to both the original version and latest concert version for older songs (pre-2011)

OMG, I am so excited that you reacted to this! A crazy intro into the world of Big Bang...but very fitting. There are more members than this, this is just a single that this subunit did for their MADE album but this subunit does have a whole CD which if you love like 90's/early 2000 vibes you WOULD LOVE! I adore that album. Also, as you can see GD and Top do not give a sh*t and they do whatever they want. This MV has a lot of references and it's hard to catch everything...there are people who have made posts explaining it all. As far as songs, Big Bang is constantly switching up sounds but I'd highly recommend "Cafe, (live MADE concert is the best way to view this one)" "Bae Bae," "FXXK it," and "We Like 2 Party" (a fun MV they just shot while hanging out).

Bigbang is made up of 5 members who all have very different styles when it comes to their solo music. As a group they tend to lean towards a more pop/electronic sound meshed with hiphop and r&b. If you would like to hear more of gd & top together I would recommend "knockout". T.O.P's "Doom Dada" and G-Dragon's "One of a Kind" are also worth checking out. All 5 members have unique styles and they all come together to make the perfect group. You're right, they're always having fun in their mv's and on stage (but they have plenty of songs with deep meaningful lyrics as well). It's my first time watching you, but if you like rappers and hip hop, then you should definitely next react to Top's "Doom Dada" mv. You will be amazed by his rapping and the creativity of the video. I also recommend the iconic mv by G-Dragon & Taeyang- "Good Boy". And there are plenty of suggestions for Bigbang songs in other comments. Btw, G-Dragon has the most distinctive voice in K-pop. Rapping, singing, falsetto, soft, hard - he does it all.

Wow. Zutter being first to listen in BIGBANG discography is a bit unexpected. Like it. My forever love: Loser by BIGBANG. I'll advice to listen to whole MADE album (Loser, Bae Bae, Bang Bang Bang, We like 2 party, If you, let's not fall in love, Zutter, FXXK IT, Last Dance and Girlfriend). If you don't know which song is title you'll never guess. This is their latest work. I hope it's not their last. GD&TOP is a subunit of BIGBANG's rappers (2 of five members of BIGBANG). They have an album: GD&TOP. Others are vocal line: Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri.

Yeah, GD&TOP are in a group called 'BIGBANG' which did a lot of old school RnB and hip-hop early in their career. But they both have solo careers as well. For some more original / uniquish rap from them individually -- check out 'She's Gone' by G-Dragon and 'Act Like Nothing's Wrong' by TOP. They're both 'hard' in a way, while still being melodic and catchy. They also did a whole album together called "GD&TOP vol 1" ten years ago which still stands up and had several music videos of wildly varying genres. Also as a general rule, they (and BIGBANG as a whole) are generally better live. So it's sometimes an idea to watch a live performance of a song before or after an official video. Their greatness and popularity draws heavily from their stage presence. Glad you enjoyed this!!

Hey what a track and MV especially to start with. Bigbang currently has 4 members signed under the label post completion of their military service but had been a 5 member group for all of their careers before their service. Each of the members has a solo body of work as well as sub-units such as GD&TOP as you see here. And the solo, group and sub-units each have very different music styles. For more rap oriented tracks I'd recommend Doom Dada (T.O.P) One of a Kind (GD). For checking out the Group Flavor I'd recommend tracks FXXK IT and BAE BAE. But on the more high octane side 'Bang Bang Bang!' is sort of a staple with the group. For every track feel free to choose among either the MVs or the lives, every MV is incredibly visual but this group often sounds even better live.

I totally appreciate this reaction! First off, prioritizing the lyrics instead of neglecting it (Big Bang has weird mv’s because they have a lot of symbolism tied to the deep lyrics). Second, recognizing the musicality; from instruments to the flow of the rap. Even the influence of hardcore hip hop from decades ago. Third, seeing the dark atmosphere and unique humor, which does make one realize that Big Bang is not a “Kpop boy band”, but rather, REAL musicians that are original, innovative, and fearless. They’re trend setters for sure!

The whole point of this song is that they are so famous they can get away with everything. GD says "People applaud when I take a sh*t" because he grew up in the industry and people literally cheer at everything he does. BIGBANG are called the "Kings of Kpop" because of their influence over the entire industry during the peak of their career. All of them have successful solo careers and other businesses/projects that never fail. I've been their fan since 2008 and it's been a ride!! I highly suggest you check out more!
