+LumosMist Agree...even TOP's rap was very raw and underground...he doesn't get much credit for his earlier works which I think was very good.... all BB old songs which was very Hip-Hop was the stepping stone for Korean Hip-Hop Korean boyband because they are the (one of the) pioneers after 1TYM for influencing the present scene....

You know, im surprised a lot of people don't know this Era of Bigbang. I learned about them in 2011. Right before they released Tonight. And the first song I saw from them was actually La La La and Haru Haru. I then saw all of their songs after they released the Tonight album. This song is one of those songs that never really comes to mind when I think of them but whenever the song comes on I always jam out to it.

Yes. One of Big Bang's many influences. There were groups like Block B, B.A.P, BTS, etc., that had multiple rappers but Big Bang were one of, if not the first to do it. They certainly introduced a rap line in K-Pop groups.

So this is the type of music that got BIGBANG to where they are now. I discovered them in depth during their MADE series and its great to see their versatility as musicians. I love their music from 2007(their break out year) til now. But for their next album I would like to see a hip hop and R&B style. It would be amazing to see those styles of music combined with their proficiency as matured artist. They would slay and put most of these new hip hop boy groups to shame. (No hate just saying):)
