Seungri is the most extroverted among the BB members and he loved going to clubs, so his music reflects that. He also learned to DJ and at one point had a music label for DJs. He does have some serious songs, but he intentionally wanted to make his music more on the happier side. One of the reasons BB has lasted so long is because each member was allowed to have their own solo career and do the music styles they wanted which didn’t use to happen back then. These days many idols do solos or collabs, but that wasn’t the norm when BB started doing it. A lot of K-pop fans really don’t understand just how much BB and YG influenced the industry as a whole.

When BIGBANG debuted in 2006, Seungri was 15 years old (international age). 'Strong Baby' was his first solo, released in 2008, and written for him by G-Dragon. Seungri wanted to show his maturity. Funny thing, Seungri said when he was asked to sing at friends weddings, they always wanted 'Strong Baby'. Seungri liked to DJ and was initially a dancer, so some of his music lends itself to social dancing, like the club sound at the end of 'Gotta Talk to You' or the whole dance vibe of '1,2,3'. 'Where R U From' is full of Easter eggs for fans--Panda references like the bamboo and his coat at the end of the video (because his nickname was Panda due to his dark eye circles). Once when asked what animal he would choose to be, he said a horse. It became a joke with a picture of him yawning widely compared to a horse's mouth. That's why he yawned when he dismounted the horse. So many references... Thank you for your reaction. I always enjoy them!

as for "Gotta Talk To U", Seungri said he tried to make a song without a chorus/bridge, basically the whole song just the same and GD made fun of him for it for a while :)))) for "Strong Baby", it was to mark his adulthood as he just became 20 (legal Korean age) and of course GD had to be in it for him too lol. Where are you from is my favourite Seungri song. It's fun and good vibe. Seungri likes to keep his lyrics a bit lighter than the other members imo, he is more about making a good vibe. He wrote/co-wrote a lot of the songs on his last album. GD was in awe as he said it took Seungri just a few weeks to complete the whole album. He knows the music style he likes. GD wrote and produced Strong Baby for Seungri because Seungri wanted to escape his "youngster" image. GD usually does some sort of cameo in songs he writes.

Seungri's music is the more popish out of the 5. His lyrics (aside from "Strong baby" which was written by G Dragon) are simplistic but catchy, they're there to accompany his voice rather than the other way around. His album "The Great Seungri" has several songs that are a must and from his other albums there's also some songs that should be listened to. I think that everytime a Seungri song pops up in your playlist you won't skip it because their strength and greatness lays on his voice.

1, 2, 3 was done pretty much in oneshot. imagine the hard work behind it, one mistake of any of the dancers or him and they had to start from the beginning again. same with taeyangs eyes, nose, lips, which was obviously easier but still impressive, and ringa linga dance version was made in 2 shots i think, you should also check that out

First of all, thank you so much RJ for not excluding our baby Panda Seungri in ur BB's solo reaction. Bigbang is la group where look like 5 soloists just randomly put into a one group but still clicked to each other. The genre that every members taken in their solo careers are different to each other. Taeyang is more on ballad/pop ballad, RnB. GDragon is like pop hiphop/rock, alternative sort of. TOP is more on heavy hiphop. While Daesung is rock ballad or just ballad. And Seungri is really into pop edm. That is why you can also see that Bigbang's discography are also diverse since just for the members, they are already taken different genres. Also, for me, Seungri's vocals is like a silky smooth milk that is so delicate and sweet yet enchanting. Mashiho of Treasure and Jinu of Winner also felt like that. Their vocals are so sweet and so beautiful.

He has a Dance and Singing Academy before some of the students in his academy were Jinu (Winner) J-Hope (BTS). STRONG BABY is song that GD gift for Seungri for becoming an adult. Since he was the Maknae everyone thinks that he is still "the Baby" of the group, and Strong Baby was the song that made fans see him as an adult. And that's the reason why GD is also in the vid. BIGBANG members indeed have different styles in their Solo Music. I think that's what makes them as successful Solo Artist bcoz each member doesn't sound like the other.
