It seems to me that BIGBANG is the only kpop group that actually dominates their "contract". What I mean is that they do what they want to do most of the time : they write their songs, they chose the settings and styles and everything, they write the music and the concept too. I think YG is more like a counselor for them, they help them giving birth to their ideas and making them concrete. But other than that, they have more freedom than other kpop groups and they can express their artistic views more. They have the upper hand because they exist on their own. They achieved that by never lying to their true selves and affirming their personalities and preferences (even sometimes when they're supposed not to) and by keeping a strong bond of friendship between them. They are true artists on their own and together they explode ! I respect them so much for reaching the point they are now, as artists and as persons, and we know the kpop world is hard and cruel most of the time. I think they kind of overcame it... I just wanted to say that so I said it here. :x

Ok but seriously can we stop talking about fandoms and fandom wars on here and just start appreciating BIGBANG as a group and FXXK IT as a song. This song is so original imo, I love how BIGBANG keeps changing their sound but still rocks every genre they try. No wonder they are killing the charts and are still on top after 10 years (when all other groups reached their peak after 3-6 years and after that their popularity declined) I love it when TOP raps/rap-sings with his low voice.. and his pink hair killed me at least 50 times I think. Seungri was killing the bridge part, his softer voice mellows out the song (so after that the beat can hit you 1000 times harder) Daesung and Taeyang's voices made the song feel alive and dynamic. I'd love to see them and Seungri have a subunit one day. (Also hooray to Daesung's eyes) GD... God I have a big weakness for GD rapping. Like he has a great and iconic singing voice but his light rap in contrast with TOP's heavy rap just does something to me. BIGBANG wouldnt be bigbang if 1 of the 5 was missing lbr here. All in all I love this song and this comeback. It's a great end to the MADE era and I'm excited for what the future may bring. VIP until whenever!

Lalla Laiá yeah I know what you're saying, I'm not arguing that they didn't take any risk, it's that they did follow a trend, traditional and the original Korean music is really what Chinese music is like right now; and not surprisingly, China is starting to follow the Western also. But since Kpop groups started showing up, most of them do follow the American trend, that it's catchy and have somewhat of a meaning. You don't see it but American songs(not the dubstep, or the stupidly famous for no reason ones) typically have great meanings behind them. Music videos are different though, I can agree that there is little to no meaning in Kpop music videos, but there is a decent amount in American/western style music videos.
