I primarily use my "drinker towel" from i2detailing and for my wheels, wing mirrors and awkward palces I have the Titan wet/dry vacuum from Screwfix. Not a bad combo!!

Nice intro Mat, another good video. I have the Master Blaster 8hp and the 4hp one (4hp one doubles up as a vac and a blower) and i would`nt be without them. I`ve found that as long as you have decent protection on the car the water just flies off, without any it can be a very slow job, great pieces of kit all the same, and you def get the strange looks from passing neighbours lol. Thanks for another good video mate, keep em coming

Some parts I had to do "re-takes" (no script, but redo what I'd said) because he'd come bounding in squeaking a toy. Then when he was quiet, I had no idea where he was in the garage as I was looking at the camera lens. It wasn't until editing I noticed in a few shots he's under the make-shift table 😆 Oh, and I think he come up in my face 2 or 3 times. The bit at the end was the first time he wanted to see what was happening 😆

Great review Matt. Just ordered one from UF. My neighbours already think I’m mad so all good there. I’d previously looked at airforce but struggled to justify the price. I like the 2 year UK warranty with this and combined with my GTechniq Crystal am hoping it’s going to make lighter work of things 👍

I looked at these when I got a new blower beginning of last year and nearly got the pro model. I found the Bruhl MD2800 which looks almost identical, same thumb screws etc but different colour scheme (must be made in same factory!) and went for that as it was quite a bit cheaper (half price!). Been really pleased with it and easily dries the whole car in no time. Rarely use a drying towel these days. One thing I like is you can blow off the rain off the car and get that just washed look again even if it’s been a few days since the last wash.

Great video Mat. I was lucky enough to win the ‘Mini’ from Ultimate Finish as part of the DW 12 days of Xmas competition. It’s a great piece of kit. Only got the chance to use it a few days ago. It’s quite surprising the amount of air it kicks out! Blasting the water out from the engine after an engine bay detail has to be taken with care, otherwise you’ll get soaked 😆

Whether a leaf blower or big boi dryer do your car have to be coated in order for it to be effective?

Hi Mat, if you have used the Aeolus Turbo pet dryer how would you say the middle one compares? Also how did you find the hose for quality and recoil? Thanks for the review
@TheDetailingSpace5 жыл бұрын
I haven't used that unfortunately (Someone once told me to get a pet dryer).... One thing BigBoi does say about these dryers is that they are a little quieter than normal. I can pretty much vouch for that based on the noise I hear coming out of the dryers when we pick our dog up from the groomers. As for hose and recoil - it felt very good. No worries about it splitting, and also, not too stiff where you'd be worried about it wearing & cracking over the years. It felt a bit supple if that makes sense.
