Small correction. Schrodinger didn't use the Schrodinger's cat thought experiment to explain superposition. He was against it and used the thought experiment to show how ridiculous according to him the Copenhagen interpretation was. But over time people forgot the real intention of Schrodinger's cat and use it to explain superposition instead. Other than that small point, your facts are correct. Good job

Also, the Copenhagen interpretation actually doesn't think that there's one true position but rather, all the states predicted in the superposition are true and the very act of observation makes it collapse to a single state. Slight mistake on his part but he never intended to talk about the Copenhagen view, although I believe he should have, given Schrodinger's true intentions

In the real world Schrödinger's cat "experiment" would play out as follows: as soon as the radioactive atom interacts with the Geiger counter, it collapses from its non-decayed/decayed state into one definite state. The Geiger counter gets definitely triggered and the cat definitely gets killed or the Geiger counter definitely does not get triggered and the cat is definitely alive. But both don't happen simultaneously.

Comparing someone predicting we landed on moon to someone predicting there is a multiverse is like comparing apple and oranges. One is pausible reality and other is out of the box concept. Also, there didn't seem any other concrete points apart from it. The 70-80% of video went into explaining the conflicted views of science community on multiverse , but that doesn't really disapprove anything , all it says is that it's up for debate. At the best you can say that the person who wrote about this story in the multiverse can be compared to a theoretical physicist for them to even think about that concept in such an early ages when science was barely a thing.

The smorgasbord of complexity we have just beginning to 'observe' (and understand to a degree) about our immediate world and the universe itself should be rather humbling. When there's seemingly infinite things more the learn and understand, lets be open to different possibilities, including different 'scientific' paths. Afterall, theses paths aren't the be-all end-all, that they are mere tools in pursuit of truth.

But what problem did you find in this video? All Pranav said was that there's not enough consensus in the scientific community about this theory for it to be reasonably credible. That's partially because (a) the mutliverse hypothesis is in its early stages of development, and (b) parts of the current theory involve unfalsifiable or untestable statements. If you understand how scientific developments take place, and how we "come to know the truth", then you should easily understand that as of now, the multiverse theory is not "truth" (by modern standards). Maybe in the future we will, but that does not mean we start believing in it as of now. Because as per that rationale, we should also start believing in dragons in the hopes that we will be able to create a fire-breathing flying mutant reptile or robot in the future. After all, a fire-breathing dragon is physically possible!

Hi Pranav, love your videos... couple of points: 1. Probably you can dub some of your debunking videos to vernacular languages like Hindi, Telugu... Your audience don't need convincing, they're already and if you want them to spread the word, then English might not be the most effective medium 2. You can pick topics that can reach masses once in a while rather than something this niche... Like picking few predictions of astrology and deconstructing them Also, I don't want to point out but sometimes your tone becomes condescending, especially on your personal channel.. If you want to reach out to more people, you should sound objective to the person who won't believe you (I'm not a creator so I don't know what goes behind your decisions, just wanted to put my thoughts out)

Pranav, once again a well produced and well researched video. However, I want to point out a troubling observation which may portend a disappointing forecast. Bigbrainco's multiverse video published 3 months ago has 1.1 million views. The channel has 1.04 million subs. Most of bigbrain's content over the past month has a 6-digit view count ranging from 150k to 800k views. The other thing I noticed is religion based content, especially content that aggrandizes Hinduism or ancient scriptures, get views in the high 400k to 700k neighborhood. On the other hand, your channel puts out well researched, easily comprehensible, critical and rational content, but the view count has rarely gone into 6 digits. Notable exceptions are your videos on flying beast and fittuber that went into 6 digits, which I assume is due to the fact that you called out their names in the titles and they must have shown up in the numerous searches for these creators. I see a similar trend when titles contain big names like Abhi and Niyu, Dr. Zakir Naik, and Shark tank. I am not throwing shade on you; merely observing. I interpret the following from the findings: 1. Indians seem to like content that is populist, sensationalist, aggrandizes hindu religion, jingoistic, and pride stroking. 2. There are fewer Indians who are amenable to content that is rational, thought provoking, uncomfortable, and critical of the Indian identity and attributes. 3. Given this, I want to reiterate what I have commented in few of your older videos that Indians, in general, don't have an appetite for science, rational thinking, criticism, and the scientific method. It's a backward, tribal, and unenlightened culture, like many other cultures on the planet. 4. This situation will probably not improve, given Indians' general apathy or aversion for thinking rationally, separation of religion from regular life, and asking questions to anything that is perceived as superior or an authority. 5. While your content is fantastic, it may hit a ceiling given that there are only so many Indians interested in your inquiries and explanations.

The problem is, when we talk about religion, we have to give the benefit of doubt to religion, by accepting that Gods are real. No matter the religion, if we already consider that it's illogical and unreal due to lack of evidence or due to fiction story books, it's alright useless to talk any further. Well pretty shallow parallelism when you talk about the book about the moon. A better question to ask is how did they think of the concept of infinite? What was their understanding of what the universe entailed? It’s incredibly easy to play the semantic game and debunk anything. One must always keep their mind open and keep questioning. Although this is a vague sentence, it has to be. I cannot define the parameters of what open mindfulness is exactly, which highlights the semantic gaps of our language and comprehension. We would not have dialogue if not for this undefinability of words.
