Thank you for sharing. I did the art school thing and career-wise I'm a 3D digital modeler - but wanting to get back into 2D art for myself, my husband and I are starting a t-shirt/sticker brand on the side. We're not live yet, but just this morning I was having a crisis of confidence. Learning pressing, different types of transfers, bringing my designs to print and the color adjustments for the different papers/vinyl, using up materials just practicing, and I froze up with all the 'what ifs'. My husband (the one with the hustle gene) has to keep reminding me that right now I should just be enjoying the process. Watching, this brought back one of my favorite art quotes: "We all have 10,000 bad drawings in us. The sooner we get them out the better."

Awesome advise . Everything you said was on point. My favorite part of this video was when you talked about being a business owner it is not for everyone and you do work harder, and not calling yourself an entrepreneur. I am that person too. Don’t to much care for titles

Doing a line of designs, it just a process of fine tuning. Nowadays it so easier and less cost developing products.

Or you can put a mission behind your brand and mething you want to change about America for example And take the emotional sale route Explain that you will use a percentage of the profit to build garden and survival/ defensive combat centers all over America for example But the design still does matter

How do you respond to those who ask where you got the shirt, but you haven’t produced any others?
@ScorchedAce943 ай бұрын
Be honest and direct with them let them know you can source the shirt together but will need their time and patience, or just be prepared to distribute, since we're at the point of willing to show off the product then we should be prep'ed to sell at least a few shirts. 17:10-17:50 Brandoh kinda talks about it. This is definitely a good question though because at one point I'll be in the same position and I feel like our best bet would be to just be ready with 1 shirt for each size you feel comfortable with making.

Your advice has helped mr avoid running out and waste money based on emotion and motivation. I’ve learned to take the time to research my options and then my an informed purchase/descision. Thanks homie.

Test🔄Iterate🔄Execute. I can fully relate to the V1, V2, etc. of the tees to get to the winning product. My best selling shirt has gone through so many different subtle revisions that no one probably knows about lol I went from a different 3-4 color design, to single color screen print, then limiting the design to work as a plastisol transfer to further reduce risk while increasing the quality of product and increasing margins 📈
