I agree with what you said about Bigby's old wolf look. I'm glad they decided to update it and make him look more like his comic wolf form or at least their version of it. The game definitely looks great, and they're working with a new game engine, so who knows what else they improved. I really enjoyed your reaction and can't wait to see play this in the future. Yeah. They are using unreal engine now. I immediately notice the animations look more smooth and not as rigid as well as I like what they have done with the character models. They look pretty good. Of course this game would at least look better compared to the first since it’s been 9 years 10 if you count how long it will be when it comes out. It is still that wolf among us art style which I like but everything else looks improved.

I waited patiently for seven years for the sequel of the Last of Us, one of my all time favourite games. I am waiting eight years and counting for the next installment of Grand Theft Auto. Seeing the inevitable return of Bigby Wolf and the Fables universe hits different considering a second season was highly unlikely and just a distant dream for a long time if not years. This reveal was a pleasant surprise.

Honestly, this ranks up there with the continuation of Mass Effect. Ok, maybe not *quite* as high as Mass Effect in the big scheme of things, but I'm just as excited for TWAU2. It is very nice to see TTG back.

In the comics, he's cut with a knife that's got some lycanthropic properties (aka werewolves), which is what allowed him to have a human form. I think in the first game, his lycanthropic form is more traditional Wolfman, while this game is taking more from his lore as the Big Bad Wolf

9:00 I definitely agree with this, especially since Bigby isn't a human that can turn into a wolf, he's a wolf that can turn into a human, which is why his half form having a human like head was always pretty odd looking to me.

I'm glad you put up the trailer reaction, I was sure you would be checking it out at some point. I know there has been information here and there that this was back on track but I was surprised they were at a stage where a trailer is ready. Really excited for it, looks great. It's interesting the dialog says "You're listed here as a private investigator". I'm assuming this is because it looks like a "mundy" anger group and he is not listed as sheriff. Or has Fabletown leadership changed? Anyways, many questions.

according to the creators, the game is 6 months after the events of season 1. Snow made Bigby give up his position as sheriff and told him to go to anger management classes, probably bc of the 'incident' with Dorothy that's being shown in the trailer. so I'm guessing his new job is being a private investigator.

but on March 1, 2023, Telltale announced the game would be delayed to 2024. The development team decided that switching to Unreal Engine 5 would be "worth the effort" of redoing much of the work that was already done on Unreal Engine 4 due to the abundance of features in a newer version of the engine, the delay decision was made to avoid doing crunch during this switch.

Actually they’ve partnered with Adhoc Studios which is a studio comprised of some of the OG telltale employees that worked on the first game. They have the two directors, lead writer, and some of the cinematic directors as well
