Thanks to MN hockey hub and Loren Nelson for making this list of the players. I do not own rights to either song in the video.

i was coached as a pee week by Mayasich in the Stillwater area way back in the early 80's - i had no idea who he was until my father mentioned to me that he played against him and was a legend.

Curious about Jamie Langenbrunner. From Cloquet to the NHL with no college.

Langenbrunner left Cloquet after his junior year. Definitely one of the best I ever saw, but lack of years probably left him off the list.

If we are talking total hockey careers here you would have to raise Matt Cullen to top 10 now after 3 Stanley Cups and like 20 seasons.

Top 2 MN hs hockey players of all time are 1)mayasich 2)spehar The rest are up for debate BTW, is this about the best MN high school hockey players or where they went with their careers after hs? Didn't care for Grant Besse but where is he?? Or Johnny Pohl?

LOL...a MN High School player, whom went on to win a Hobey Baker Award, played 11 seasons in the NHL is 54th, with other's not near as talented ahead of him. MN Hockey Hub & Loren Nelson should get eyes checked. : )

Moved to Minnesota in 1982. Can say I saw in person Bjugstad, Millen, Stauber et al at U of M. Never watched a lot of HS hockey. Would have loved to have seen Mayasich HS, Gophers, whenever.

Apparently he's playing overseas. He certainly didn't develop into an NHL caliber player but he was an incredible high school player. I think he still has the all time scoring lead in MN State High School history.

if its high school players from Minnesota and Marty Sertich isn't in the top 25, the list looses any credibility. (Marty Sertich: 2001 Mr.Hockey Winner and 2005 Hobey Baker Winner)

Who comes up with these biased lame lists. There's a hundred more that could easily be on here. What a bunch of crap!!
@roenkozekadam9 жыл бұрын
Well I didn't! I would reorder it myself but remember, they must have played highschool hockey and not prep hockey for shattuck or any other schools and they couldnt have left early to play somewhere else.
