As a person who lives in metro Atlanta suburbs, Jason’s song/video moved me. Metro Atlanta has many small, tight knit, communities surrounding downtown. When the nightmare started I cried as I watched our capitol city burn and police attacked. We watched the t.v. In horror as small business owners were being hurt and/or lost their homes and businesses. The people creating these crimes were not just one race. Earlier in the day, people were bussed in from all over the country . Busses were filled with multi-racial “protestors.“ I think I saw as many white protesters/rioters as other races. Jason’s video did not single out any one race. It just shows a bunch of idiots who were influenced to create havoc. For weeks after the first night of riots our family couldn’t drive more than approximately 3 miles outside our city to avoid getting hurt. However, like Jason’s song conveys, my family and neighbors were ready to “defend” if rioters or people taking advantage of the chaotic situation chose our town to invade next. All said, if you start crap like that… it doesn’t matter if you are pink with purple polka dots… you may want to think twice. Making the wrong choice may put you in front of folks locked and loaded on their small town front porches.

No one is hateful, every time I hear his name, it triggers the horrible ordeal that happened in Las Vegas concert . Imagine family of a black community triggers 1927 lynching of Henry Choate, things like that one never forgets especially if it hits close to home. Do apologize if I rub anyone the wrong way. Everyone deals with the pain in different ways especially when that pain is close to me.
