I have been keeping all pre 82 pennies i find in the wild for about 3 years now. I have a 1964 D penny in great shape, I would guess a 63 or better. I kept it in a capsule for years now because it is one of the most beautifully toned pennies I had ever seen to begin with. I got it in my change from a Gold purchase, and I was almost as happy with the penny as I was the Gold coin lol

Hey Big D ..I've messaged you before about the 1964 special mint Lincoln cent..and I told you that I had one..when I found it in my change jar..I knew it was special because it was very different looking..it looked like yellow gold..and was very smooth and chiseled..and mine believe it or not was absolutely mint..it had almost no wear on it at all if any .but what I did because I'm still wet behind the ears in coin collecting..I've literally just started about a month ago..is I wound up heating it on the stove because I heard that it makes coins come out looking cool...now prior to doing this I was always just amazed and impressed and blown away by the amount of beauty pennies hold just naturally..the tones of pink and purple and blue and yellow and orange and red..which is why I started collected them specifically..I mean originally I saw a video on KZbin on the value coins in every day change can hold..so I just wanted to ask you for your help ..advice ..and expertise in this matter..the 1964 sms Penny that I cooked..like an idiot .turned out looking like sorbet ice 🍨 cream..very pastel believe it or not .I mean it's beautiful..but to be honest nothing was more beautiful than it was in it's original form..so I wanted to ask you do you think I completely devalued my coin at this point and if not ..what do you think it could be worth at this point? The 1964 sms cent was still being produced in the Summer and Fall of 1965 on 1965 planchets because it was 1965, so I speculate possible errors are out there.

I have two uncirculated 1964 no mint mark pennies that are sealed. One has a Philadelphia mint attached wood or plastic coin the other penny is no mint mark too with a Denver coin attached, also wood or plastic.

I got a 1964 SMS that looks like gold, Shiny and there is NO scratch on it. The only problem is where I can get it graded. I heard that you need to be a collector in order to send it to NGC or PCGS. Is that true? Also got a 3 pcs of SMS 1966 that is the most beautiful coins I ever seen in my life. No scratches too. I found them on my sister's old rolls of Lincoln in her attic.

I'm watching your video a couple of times now. You said there's abbreviations underneath the coin? I can't find it and didn't notice it when you were trying to point it out on your video. But I found a second 1964. One looks to be in a good condition that's a light smooth Brown but the first one is still like a glow around the president it's because of the three patches of brown on the surface I believe

I found out through error to wear a glove on my most important uncirculated coins. I got a thumb print on a few coins when I started collecting and it ruined the value of some real valuable coins.

I have some of these 64s in a set my Dad left me and their MS. but the Whitman Album that they was in leaves a paper mark on them which if soaked would come off easy. the Vinyl that is on the backside that holds the coin in, does anybody out there know if this wouls effect the coins what so ever?
