How do I know if my 1964 nickel Jefferson is worth anything?

I just found a broad strike nickel. D mint mark very faded and the words E pluribius; five cents and monticello almost erased but the rest of the words visible. Jefferson’s silhouette in the back the the building in the front barely visible on both faces of the coin. Any thoughts or feedback if this coin is promising? It is circulated but still in good shape, maybe Ms64

It's very difficult to tell from your description without a photo and not knowing the date. Fyi, MS coins are uncirculated. If I had to take a guess, it sounds like you may have a coin struck through grease, but without more info I would hsve no idea if it could be worth getting graded, let alone be worth anything.

I have a 1964 Jefferson nickle. Due to MINT error, there is an overlap covering much of the edge on overseas. The 6 looks like a 0, so my Jefferson nickle looks like a 1904 nickle. Is this rare?
