Very helpful. I was considering this bed and this video sold me on it. U.S. made is a big plus. I’ve found closing the zippers before washing and drying keeps them from getting damaged or doing damage.

We just purchased our first bed and the suv for travel and thank you for the video. I absolutely love this. We got one to fit our cage which is her safe haven ( Dane/ Lab mix she was abused before she found her forever home with us) and after watching your video we are getting a huge one for the living room. 💖 we are super impressed with it so far and have a waterproof liner coming tomorrow

@@davem.3309 The bed itself is great. I mean my wife and I took turns to take naps on it hahaha. Also we got the bed the next day. Amazing for free shipping. The only problem we have is getting my dog to use it. She does once in a while but still prefers the hardwood floor in the summer heat where the floor is much cooler than the bed.

Awesome! What I have found with these beds is that the warmer it is in your home, the more a cold tile floor is preferred by most big dogs. Each dog will have a different level of tolerance for heat and cold as well as comfort. It took a little time for my boys to get used to sleeping and laying on the beds for long stretches of time. It helped when I moved the bed around to where the dogs are most apt to lay - usually wherever I am for long periods of time - in my office, in the kitchen, our homeschool room, etc. As I moved the bed around, they learned that it was their "place" and now our Big Barkers are where they go for nearly all naps and for sleeping at night. Having treats handy to help them realize the joy of the bed can help too. Just point to the bed and say something like, "on your bed," and when they start to step up on it, give a treat. If you want me to do a video on how to get your big dog to love their BB, I'm happy to. I never thought about it... but it did take a little time for us as well. :)

Really liked your presentation. Feeling confident about durability and ease of care now. We have dachshunds and are considering the Junior Barkers. Two final concerns are the firmness and the non-surrounding bolsters. We are replacing donut fluffy beds that they love; however offer little support, shed fibers and trap dust that we believe Is causing a recent development of a chronic cough in both of them.

@@BigDogMom I bought them and they love them! I feel better knowing that I'm doing all I can to make my babies comfortable and protect them from future injury. I wouldn't be able to live with myself knowing that I could have prevented them agony and pain and I did nothing. That's just my conscious... they didn't ask me t buy them...that's part of my responsibility seeing that they have no choice and solely depend on me to protect and nourish them. Hi! Are Mastiffs okay with being the only pet in the household?

That's a great question! I would say yes. They are guard dogs by genetics so they are far more concerned with where their people are than other pets in the house. That said, my two boys are the best of friends and get a great deal out of life by being together. I've never had a cat in the house, so I can't speak to them from personal experience, but I know many Mastiff owners with cats and they do just fine together. With enough time, attention, and exercise from you, a singleton Mastiff in the home would be very happy I think. I hope this helps!

Yes & No. I've gone through 4 iterations and my dog would simply not use it. I mean... nada. I really really REALLY loved the bed and their service. Jaime is awesome and understood each time I needed to return them. So if you can afford it, assuming your dog will sleep on it, it is WELL worth the money.

I don’t have this dog bed but I wish I could! My dog Gilbert is 1 1/2 and is already struggling with his joints. He eats every dog bed I get for him🤦🏻‍♀️ I have him on joint supplements and fish oil but he has pretty significant calluses forming on his elbows. I ordered him a elevated dog bed, I’m hoping this will give him some relief from the floor!

I completely understand. These beds are an investment and, while very durable, can be chewed with a very motivated pup. One thing you might consider is getting a Big Barker and then picking it up off the floor when you leave the house so he doesn't get the chance to chew it up. Then when you are home you can work on redirecting him if he starts to go for it. How is the elevated bed working for him? Also, for his calluses, check out my videos on elbow butter. I keep that on my boys' elbows and it really helps keep the calluses from growing.

@@BigDogMom the elevated dog bed has helped a lot with his joint issues! (our home has all hard wood floors so not big dog friendly😣) but the fabric still seems a little too rough for his elbows so I will definitely be looking into your other video!
