Have you looked at Bully Beds? I purchased one for my Corso a year and a half ago. I’m super impressed with it. Seems same quality as Big Barker but less expensive, and they have an infared bed! You should check it out

I have both in the XL size and the Dog Barker is better quality and heavier duty/quality foam than the Bully bed.

Do the bolster sides have a waterproof cover as well?

Great question! They do not. The waterproof cover just fits over the main bed and the bolsters sit on top. I haven't found this to be an issue with my dogs.

Great review .. i love big dogs i have had english mastiffs for 22 years but now i have a little morkie and i am looking for a good bed for her she is only 7 kilos but i still want a big durable bed that will last

One thing is sure...I believe in the Big Barker beds, they are badass. Have 2 one w/pillow & 1 sleek. Sometimes, I lay on the beds with my Corso's. However, the cover on the other hand has not faired as well. That's most likely due to them wrestling on it. Just need to upgrade to a canvas one.

I love that! I lay on ours too and my son has actually slept on it. Haha! I'm sorry about the cover. Our covers have held up amazingly well, but my boys are pretty chill. I had the Big Barkers when they were puppies, too, however, they were pretty gentle on them. Our only issue was Junior peeing on them. 🫤
