bigeye scade fishing The bigeye scad is an oceanic fish found in tropical regions around the globe. PARROT FISH ARE IMPORTANT!! ගිරවා අලංකාර මාලුවෙක්. ආහාරයට ද ගත හැකියි. නමුත් එය නැවැත්විය යුතුයි. එයට සුවිශේෂී හේතු පවතිනවා. අපගේ ධීවර ප්‍රජාව ඒ ගැන දැනුවත් විය යුතුයි. අපගේ සාගරේ ආහාරයට ගත හැකි නොයෙක් මසුන් වර්ග වලින් බහුලයි. අප ගිරා මත්ස්‍යයාට අභය දානය දිය යුත්තේ මන්ද? කොරල් පර ආශ්‍රිතව ජීවත් වන ගිරා මත්සයා මල කොරල්පර කොටස් සහ කොරල් පර වලට අහිතකර ඇල්ගී විශාල වශයෙන් ආහාරයට ගන්නවා.උන්ගේ දින චර්යාවෙන් 90% ක කාලයක් ගත වන්නේ කොරල් පර ආශ්‍රිතව ආහාර ලබා ගැනීමටයි. නිවර්තන කලාපයේ කොරල් පර බොහොමයක් අහිතකර ඇල්ගී මගින් පීඩාවට ලක් වී ඇත.මෙයට ප්‍රධාන හේතුව ප්‍රමාණවත් ගිරා මත්ස්‍ය ගහනයක් එම කොරල් පර ආශ්‍රිතව දක්නට නොලැබීමයි. අනෙකුත් ශාක භක්ෂක මසුන්ගෙන් ගිරා මත්ස්‍යයන් ගෙන් සිදුවන සේවය සිදුවන්නේ නැහැ. සියල්ලටම වඩා වැදගත් දේ තමයි ගිරා මත්සයා සිය වසුරු ලෙස පිරිසිදු සුදු වැලි පිට කිරීම. එක් ගිරාම සකු වසරකට සුදුවැලි කිලෝ ග්‍රෑම් 320 එනම් රාත්තල් හත්සියයක් පමණ පිට කරනු ලබනවා. ඉතින් ඇල්ගී සහ මල කොරල්පර ආහාර ගෙන පිරිසුදු වැලි පිට කරන මෙම හැඩකාරයා රැක ගත යුතුමයි. වාර්තාවලින් ප්‍රබල ලෙස තහවුරු වී ඇති කරුණක් වන්නේ 1980 දශකයේ ගිරා මසුන්ට අභයදානය ලබාදුන් ස්ථාන වලට ආශ්‍රිත කොරල් පර මේ වන විට සුවපත් වෙමින් පවතින බවයි. මෙය දිරිගන්වන සුළු තත්වයක්. ධීවර මිතුරනි, ඔබේ දැලට බිලී කොක්කට හසුවන ගිරා මත්ස්‍යයාට අභයදානය දෙන්න. එය අනාගතයේ ගොඩනැගෙන නිරෝගිමත් කොරල් පරයක් ආශ්‍රයෙන් වඩාත් සරු මත්ස්‍ය අස්වැන්නක් ලබා ගැනීමට හේතු වනු නොඅනුමානයි. There are important reasons why we should not eat them and we should educate the fishermen to stop catching these beautiful fish! Please do spare them ... the ocean needs them to regenerate. Read below to be educated. They're lots of fish you can catch in the sea. They can sell and cook the other fish, but leave the parrot fish! Here is why: Parrotfish eat algae and dead coral. They spend up to 90% of their day nibbling. In other words, they clean the reef. This is important because most of the reefs across the tropics are being smothered by algae because there are not enough parrotfish and other herbivores out there grazing. After all that eating, get this: They poop fine white sand - lots of it! Each parrotfish produces up to 320 kilograms (700 pounds) of sand each year. Their numbers are so depleted, and algae levels are so high, that they cannot be fished sustainably right now anywhere in the Caribbean. These flamboyant, algae-eating, sand-pooping fish need to be left in the water. And when they are left to chomp away, they do a brilliant job. A massive new report concludes that reefs where parrotfish were abundant in the 1980s are the reefs that are healthy now. There is a reason for their existence so please let's not eat them ...
