I have been playing this game since release, struggling to break lines and attack freely. I watched this video, everything made sense but then I thought no way the clips he has posted are from higher divisions people defending so badly. I hopped on the game hoping to replicate some of the ideas and to my surprise people actually start defending poorly once you execute the spaces correctly. Never enjoyed playing the game more, never have been happier to be proven wrong. Absolute beast of a video.

The thing is. Not every User has that high level of Input Response. The way you're playing requires good Input Response. But all you get is major Input delay. Was able to play the exact same way like this back in FIFA 22. But man since FC24. It's not the same

I’ve always played slow and wait for opportunities to come but this video just made it 10x more better to understand and how to play it’s basically just L1 passing until you find an opening or an option but still be patient when waiting for an opportunity to open up. Great vid 💯

@@ballislife9924 Nah there isn’t a way to defend it, let me explain why: because when you press tackle the ball would keep on bouncing back to your opponent, it happened to me 3 times in a row when perfectly pressing tackle at a good angle.. then eventually he scored.. the game is broken rn.

@kiritokun-2078 You don't press tackle. I'm a 20-0 player (well, sometimes tbf), and I can defend it. Yeah, it's a very strong move, but most players try to abuse it and aren't really good with it. It's a strong move but not impossible to defend.

I failed qualifiers twice and was struggling in rivals in div 6 playing after a gap year but this really helped I actually won some back to back games and kinda noticed that i was forcing my attacks and loosing ball which was resulting in conceding stupid goals. This is super helpful and please share some more tutorials/tactics.

I can see all the runs and spaces opening up but I can’t access them in time because I can’t dribble or I can’t one touch pass as quickly so the spaces closes and it’s back to square 1.

This is a good video to an extent, the problem is a lot of these examples are bad as the defending is really poor. Many of these examples the opposition is charging his cb out at the attacker

Good attacking is by getting the defender to move out thinking he can win, FWIW i've had my worst start to any FC, but still sitting halfways to Elite in division 1 with a budget squad.

@bigfads8530 oh don't get me wrong the fundamentals are great, knowing where you're going before making a pass, facing the way you're passing, and scanning the pitch.... all great techniques to highlight. The biggest issue you'll face as an attacker i find in higher division is when players switch between 2 cms and never control their back 4/5. In this point your biggest weapons i think are timing L1 passes/runs and triggering L1 runs but changing the direction with R3. Good video none the less 👌

Totally appreciate your way of playing and always tried to play in such way earlier fifas, but personally i struggle playing it in EA FC 25, for the following reasons: - Passing the ball directly is very prone to misfit - Send a player through is difficult because they run into offside before the passing player even controls the ball - General ball control is super bad, every enemy is pressing constantly and you lose the ball quickly Dribbling or l1-sprinting with one player just seems more effective. Most goals are scored because of loosing the ball in build-up anyways, since high pressing is op. Either i loose or i win but dont have fun. That game is shit in my opinion.

4-2-4 and 3-5-2 are the tactics i use, but i throw everyone forwards. It's always easy to run through people that just move CDM's. Just wait for a gap and run straight in it.

No man, this year what they did to tactics has change the game completely. If you don't have right tactic with right players to execute it you will be smoked. It took me a week to find tactic that suites me and I'm confident to play with it. Yesterday I played a game and I got hammered by my oponent in the first 35 min, it was 0-4 I could do nothing to stop him. So I have change tactic and end result was 10-6 for me. This was my EURECA moment. I did not want to play FUT qualies before I crack the code for me. I got 4/5 in qualies it was close call to have 5/5 but defensive AI issues has cost me one lost game. It is not like on other years, this year tactic is absolutely crucial to give yourself a chance for a fair match, otherwise you will be smoked.

Hello! I want to be better at the game, so I saw your video. I’d like to say few thinks of my mind. I feel like when watching through the clips, that YOU always just have an option ready, there is not a scenario where your entirely cut off of passing options, and either your opponents are bad or something. While writing I lost 20/27 games today. I tried to get my players to run but to no “open space availability” even where I’m running opponents are predicting me. So at this point idk how to improve since comparing this gameplay to my own, I can’t see the options as you do. Overall good informative video but I’m just gonna be stuck Div 4

Focusing only on the ball is a mistake. You need to scan the pitch to make smart decisions. The improved physics make balance and momentum more realistic, and fixating on the ball makes you react late to the situation and lose balance and control. Also, skill moves aren’t for dashing through defenders; they are meant to confuse the defender by creating options and forcing the opponent to commit.

Not really, 3 back help uf playing patiently. I’ve played 4-2-4 with attacking wingbacks this year and last year. Same principles but more direct. The examples in the video are with a bunch of formations. Co-op makes it easier for me.
