The more mistakes you have with airplanes and drones, the more laws we get everywhere else in the world. We wouldn't have all these laws if people just stopped doing chancy stuff. Keep it up and they'll never allow any drones without a full certification even to buy one.

This just seems unnecessarily dangerous. To land a plane so close to bystanders is irresponsible, IMHO. The addition of the drone in such close proximity to a full scale aircraft in flight was just plain stupid, if not illegal. I can only hope the authorities see this video....

⁠@@thatairplaneguy you get no relief from compliance with regulations when operating on private property or at private event. The post above makes a valid point. That drone should be no where near that cub, see 107.37 (b). Being that low and slow that far out on final is not the way to do a short field approach.
