Quite the blunt and bouncy ride. I'm sure Jim, Bob and the others would've appreciated today's suspension a lot back in the day.

Back when monster trucks were trucks. Not a fan of the fiberglass and stuff now. If there was a way to mix the two. Bigfoot 8 was already on circuits and getting band in 90. It was the predecessor for the suspension we have now

I always wondered what happened to the original #3 with the Bull Nose body. I was a young kid when that truck came out and it was my favorite. That was the cutting edge truck back in the early 80's. It's nice to read the history from the source, Thank you BIGFOOT 4x4 for sharing.

Always looked the best as a square body Ford. He came by Gallipolis Ohio one time to a tiny little Ford dealership across the road from us. Mangled up a whole stack of gas-shortage era imports, it was great for a 5 year old..

It was used as a ride truck throughout most of the 1990s if I remember correctly and donated to the EMT financial fund in the late 1990s. It spent most of the 2000's and 2010's operating under a different name "Legend" and these days it's in the hands of a private owner who is slowly but sure restoring it to it's former 1982 glory.

This is Bigfoot #3, a truck built in 1982. Compare it to Bigfoot #11 which was built in 1992.
@waynenorbreyjr9638 Жыл бұрын
No, the newer Bigfoot trucks from 1989 up to 1992 had really good suspension. This truck being one of the older trucks that was built back in 1983 was utilizing the suspension tech at that time. At this point in time the newest truck Bigfoot 10 had a really high tech suspension system.
@kjc472 Жыл бұрын
It really wasn't. This truck was 9 years old by this time and the suspension was pretty much the same as in '83. Bigfoot 8, 9 &10 were all built between '89 & '92 with four link suspension & nitrogen shocks.
@TBird100636 Жыл бұрын
This was a stage 1 truck, so mostly exhibitions for this truck, and eventually converted into a ride truck.

To Whom It May Concern: Hello, my name is Brandon. I come from a small town in Kentucky, and has been a fan for the past 3.5 decades of Bigfoot. I have had the fortune time watching him race, and do Ford Store demonstrations. I still have a bunch of vintage Bigfoot toys that I play with occasionally. The reason for writing this letter is to ask you all to facilitate a life long dream of letting be behind the wheel of the bast Monster Trucks around and let me drive Bigfoot. Would you all help me achieve this? I await your reply. Signed; Brandon
