I've had my car for 8 years and I remember thinking when I bought it "my next car will definitely be electric or a plug in hybrid" but it needs to be at least a little bit fun to drive. It's amazing that it has taken until 2021 model years to get affordable hybrids with 250+ hp
@ninouslachin94343 жыл бұрын
I'm from Sweden and I purchased a Tucson Hybrid top trim level with the ECS adaptive suspension in januari and it will arrive at the end of april. I testdrove a demo car from the dealership for a week before I ordered it and I also drove the RAV4 hybrid for 3 days because it was between the 2 cars. However I felt that Tucson was more enjoyable to drive, better refined and more quiete than RAV4 and as Alex said the engine didn't rev like the RAV4. Although RAV4 had better fuel consumption, I went for Tucson.
@alwaysiyi2723 жыл бұрын
Oh nice observation, I tested these 2 recently and while yes the cabin of the Tucson was quiter, it wasn't by much. For me the RAV4 felt a lot quicker, it felt like it had more torque and was willing to get up and go and sometimes I even got wheelspin, while still getting better fuel economy than the Tucson, overall both were nice cars and u can't go wrong with both
@ninouslachin94343 жыл бұрын
@@alwaysiyi272 I agree, both cars are very nice and solid but one more thing that I went with Tucson is that Hyundai in Europe offers 5 year new car warranty with unlimited milage and 8 year battery warranty with 160 000 km, while Toyota offers 3 year new car warranty or 100 000 km and 5 year battery warranty with 100 000 km. LOT to like about the new Tucson. As an owner of a 2018 Tucson I'd buy this if Hyundai would put in physical knobs for the volume and tuning, although I would prefer physical knobs for the climate control as well. I don't believe Alex mentioned this but Hyundai gives a 10 year 100k warranty on their new vehicles and I believe Toyota is offering a 10 year 150k mile on their hybrids. alex, not so sure all these rather randomly placed hard lines will age well. IF they were in my design class...the designer would have to explain each and every one and why it was there. does it make the ENTIRE car flow? will they stay the years? will they, like the lines in the earlier sonata, suddenly get wiped away leaving the owners with a red flag dating their car??? this car borrows SO much from ford. the mustang rear lights. the corsair and others line across the rear fender. the lincoln cross the hatch red light...which everybody has seen fit to steal. i think my biggest worries with the hyundai products, as well as the lincoln, designs are they AGE quickly. in both circumstances, i think it is because they had been/still are, trying to develop a family look. when trying to find this they change so drastically they actually age the look of the car just purchased a few years ago. hopefully lincoln has done this, but somehow they still seem rather thin on the quality look. unlike ford, where most of their cars and trucks STILL look solid when up against and newer models, lincoln seems to struggle. a ford explorer purchased10 years ago STILL looks a fresh as newer models. and the recent design stayed close to the old and in doing so made sure the explorer will look good years to come. kia seems ok...they caught that tiger grill and are riding it hard...but hopefully they won't mess it up.

The first issue can be mostly fixed by buying a lower trim such as the SEL, but nothing can be done about the low mounted indicators. I’ve noticed some audis, infinitis, minis, toyotas, etc utilizing those low mounted indicators and I’m not a big fan of them. Today I saw a new mini clubman with the brake lights mounted low in the bumper. The mini is already fairly small and low and to mount the brake lights so low in the bumper is baffling.

That would really depend on how open the window(s) were. Also, on some vehicles, the air flow/wind buffeting changes if the front and rear windows are all cracked open a bit.

That’s a bad idea. It would give useless results.

We are getting (on order due end of July) the LTD which has the 10.2 digital instrument cluster. It is my understanding that when you order this cluster you do not get wireless Apple Play because of some software issues. My question is at some time in the future if they resolve the issue will there be an upgrade. If so how will Hyundai handle the upgrade as well as any other upgrade. will it involve going to the dealer or with all the tech in this car will you be able to get the upgrade on demand via blue link app.
