I’m surprised a lot of people I have seen commenting on here that have done crate motors in the past hate on the 392. What made you decide to get one?

@@danielmiller4354 I like the idea of the whole package, straight from Jeep. Although, I will miss the process of building the Jeep. I balance that with the fact that I don’t have the proper workshop to do that kind of work any longer. So, factory built it is for me!

Love it!! The more ridiculous it is, the more I want it. Regular, quiet, efficient cars are boring. I have one of those too. I need something ridiculous and fun that I can take off-roading once in a while, but something that’ll get up a go without hesitation when needed, and something to haul the kids around too. Can’t wait to get mine. It was ordered last week in this exact config, but in the Granite Crystal color 👍

I am absolutely in love with my 392. I’ve had lots of jeeps and this one is smoother then any of the others I’ve had and my sarge green is my favorite color to start with. I traded my 20 Rubicon four-cylinder for this there’s nothing like the acceleration and the sound This jeep makes. Since I couldn’t find one anywhere around I had to drive to get it and even my local dealership asked me to bring it by so they could see one since I’ve never had one

If you've been paying attention to the actual real world offroad reviews it doesn't take much to beat a Bronco offroad. The Bronco breaks a lot of steering components especially tie rods. So a 392 isn't necessary to compete with the Ford but it is necessary if you want good smiles pet gallon

I have a 3 inch leveling kit on my 2001 chevy Tahoe and I just glide straight through rough terrain while my dads uncle's wrangler bottoms out like crazy. even hit tock ram 1500 does better. they're cool cars but the engineers at jeep need to talk to the older designers for some tips

@@kennedypuckettmusic2067 I believe you are the first person in history to say that lol in my 50 years of being alive I've owned many many vehicles with most being purpose build offroaders. Old Toyotas old and new jeeps a couple old broncos and from the type of terrain I wheel on those are the only street legal vehicles that can pass such obstacles. I'm not saying your Tahoe can't take you places but it can't go where my jeep does. That's not an insult or a shot at your rig it's just where I go isn't large suv friendly. I guess I'm saying for extreme offroad situations I'll never trust anything other than a Wrangler

So I bought a JL EcoDiesel and love it. I was impatient and couldn’t wait until the Bronco actually hit the dealerships. Now I do a monthly pass by the dealership and am a bit envious of the Bronco. It possibly could have been a different story if I had the 392 I guess.

Rode in the extreme recon 392 at the Motor Bella in Detroit a few months back. Thing was black with half doors. Absolute bad ass. The sound is awesome. Do you need a hemi to wheel, no. But it sure is cool.

Just picked up a triple black 392 with the sky one-touch roof a couple of days ago. OMG, the fun never ends in this. The performance is magic and that top makes it all the better. If you're on the fence or don't think it makes sense, just drive one. You'll get it.

That’s awesome. I just found one that hasn’t been sold and has the extreme recon package on it (shocked since they discontinued it). Sarge green. So you need the power/ torque off road while climbing. It’s not so much for on road performance, but that doesn’t hurt. Do you really off road?

For max off-road torque, you'd get the diesel or the hybrid 4xe. Or, the gas V6 manual on the Rubicon for the max crawl ratio. The 392 is nobody's friend on a trail when it's getting 7 mpg.

Keeps going too far charging $80k for wranglers and gladiators. Really sad to see the big execs doing this to keep, we know it’s all profit.

"81K and 13 mph.... "PASS". Updating my previous comment. I rented a Bronco for a 300 mile round trip drive. I found the seats hard and my butt hurt during the 2 hour drive each way. Unusual for any car that I rent. This alone would stop me from buying the car. The mileage was actually ok, something north of 20 mph highway, close to the epa estimate and OK given how fast I was driving. I hope Ford provides better seats on the $81k version.
