Everyone talks about the first goal but the second goal is great too. Messi hits it first time with the outside of his boot with such power. His ball striking isn’t talked about enough

Ya his ball striking is amazing and up there with his best attributes. One of the hardest things to do is strike a ball coming across you first time on target with pace and he's probably the best ever at it. You know like the alba low crosses he plays to him alot. So many goals or great efforts from those types of. And he has all the different types of strikes in his repertoire

How can someone be so good, in all aspects of the game, over many many years? He makes the players next to him better, and makes the opposing players look helpless. He doesn't dive, doesn't make moves just for the show, efficiency is more important to him. Humble, but always believes in his abilities. He almost never chooses a wrong move, or fails to keep the ball. He reads the opponent's weakness and exploits it to the maximum. Keeps his cool, but if you manage to make him angry then he doesn't lose his concentration. On the contrary, it is even more dangerous. His change of pace, and his ability to be accurate, is something inhuman. From which planet did Messi come to earth??

Wow, it clearly shows the difference. All players who won the World Cup golden ball are now referred as legends and one of the best in their position and few as the best. Meanwhile almost all players in Puskas list will be forgotten after 5-10 years only. Even now most of the people who don't watch football that much won't know about them even after the fact that they all are very recent compared to the WC golden ball winners

@user-dj7xq1qh9e obviously the only person similar to mess is Maradona, but in terms of making the righ pass, dribbling at the right time and even finishing he's well on his way to having a better career than Neymar , as much as I love Neymar this kid seems to have higher potential We are literally watching as Barca are entering a period of Yamal Depencia , in his latter years in Barca he will be a playmaker just like messi from 2015 onwards

@babalombewu2766 first of all i guess you meant better career in terms of trophies.. Im only speaking in terms of talent and the ability of player and yamal is very similar to neymar.. the next big talent in football world after neymar.. also barca depending on youngsters came due to circusmtances.. imagine a well managed barca team..with elder players. These youngsters wont be getting this much time if they get anything at all. (And ofcourse they are world class talents.i dont wanna sound like im taking anything away from them) Lastly.. messi has always been a playmaker.. its not something which magically started after 2015 like u mentioned. Messi has always dropped to deeper positions and tried to make his own play from there.. so its not something which suddenly started after 2015

@user-dj7xq1qh9e career trophies yes and even football ability, Yes Barca does depend on most their young talent , but with Lamine its different, Barca has a history of mismanagement and all I'm saying is that there will come a time when Lamine will have to carry all the attacking responsibility just like messi 2019 , if he doesn't create Barca don't play. The reason Barca wasn't exposed earlier is because we always had Messi saving us making it seem as though everything was okay when infact none of the players around him were up to standard for a good 3 4 years. Yes, there are many talents in La masia , but when tough times come , Lamine will be the player to keep us afloat with grace just like Messi did in his final years at Barca
