Definitely true in some cases. I mean some have had some success. Cleo and I have sold over 220,000 books so it's been incredibly humbling and we do have a course as well that is priced very reasonable comparative but we don't push it much.

Exactly this! Some of the people on KZbin are very misleading! My book is being sold by around 50 or so retailers including Walmart, I am marketing and advertising and sales are STILL slow.

Ya Walmart is whole other story. Our best selling cookbook is getting sold on Walmart for the past few years. Also on eBay and other websites. Even found it in other countries. With your book you can change ebook title in case that needs optimization (not with printed version). You can also create an audiobook and hardcover versions and try Amazon marketing options with kindle unlimited and the other options. Those have helped us in the past to get overall more sales. Can also try creating blog posts on Google in your niche and work on getting those ranking and promoting your book in there. Just some thoughts of things that might be helpful to you. I have also made a video about reasons for low sales. Maybe there are some fruitful tips as well. Anyways, wishing you a nice weekend ahead. 🖐️🙂

Well if you were to become Coco Wyo and kept that going for an extended period of time then you could. Last week or so they even got a deal with one of the biggest publishing houses for a Christmas edition Collab. So anything is possible. But this is a once I a few million chance (literally). But dream big. You'll get better results than not dreaming at all. But would also recommend to diversify. They so did. I think they have sold about 50,000 or so digital products on Etsy. Build a whole brand and with that brand have different channnels. But ya glad you got some sense again after an overload of false clickbait stuff.

Bro it’s possible to get rich from it easily with minimal effort too most of the videos you see are NOT clickbate it actually works you just need to get yourself a team to create books and get you pre launch reviews launch your book with ads after 2-3 months if everything is done well you will already be making profits and you have an expert team to create books for you just repeat process,I don’t what this guys on about discouraging people and YES you do need at least 10-30 reviews to launch a book would be sucide launching without them as your book will most likely fail Don’t give up the dream of Amazon kdp you already have just cause of one video

When a book already has a good volume of sales, but it is in categories that are too competitive, is it convenient to change them if we find better ones or is it better to leave the ones we already have? I have doubts about whether it is good to change categories because of something I heard once.

Hi :) Next up I guess you need to do research and come up with your title, subtitle, 7 backend keywords. This will be key. I guess obviously also need to create a cover and choose your book size. You can look at your top competitors for ideas and get inspiration to be even better / different. I guess you will also need to spend some time formatting your book if you have not already. And then get ready for launch. Make sure you do Amazon Ads when your launch your book.

I think some of his titles are attention grabbing and people that only read the title without watching the videos could get a wrong impression but I've seen some of his videos and the advice in those have been common sense knowledge. I don't have as much time to watch videos these days. So can't speak for all of them of course. I think there is a much bigger problem overall by gurus. Today I saw an ad about self publishing where a guy promoted making one million dollars with a book. Honestly had me shocked that such things are even allowed to be promoted.

What I’m struggling with atm is the vast difference by different tools regarding BSR and sales estimates. Some sites estimate $200 royalties for a certain book while others estimate $8 with the same data. One result would be worth the hassle the other one wouldn’t be. Can you speak to that maybe..? 🙏

@@merolie estimates are tricky sales data is always changing based on trends and season. Many estimates are bad. One of our personal books recently hit top 100 BSR on Amazon which was a new record for us but that also have us great insight into actual sales at higher levels and we just finished updating our own estimates calculators. 🙂
