If a book is published on the main US market, can I advertise on Amazon Canada or do I have to publish it on this market as well? Thanks for the answer.

Do you use AI to translate books into German? My concern would be getting bad reviews if the translation isn't as good as it would be if a person did the translating, but having a person do it is expensive, especially for a high content book such as a memoir or novel.

Hello , my account was terminated because I put a different pseudonym on the cover than the author name. Amazon kdp sent me a message but since I went on vacation and didn't check the emails they terminated my account. Do you know if I can recover my Amazon kdp account? I sent 2 emails one to support and one to Jeff bezos email but they did not want to restore my account. Thanks

Hi my friend, sorry to bring this topic or issue here but I have lost hope in finding a contact information for KDP support team as I can't sign in. Because you need to sign in if you want to be able to contact them via chat. Is there a way as I have issues with my OTP ( a one time password verification code) which I am not receiving into my phone. 😢 My email and password are fine but for some reasons I am faced with that verification thing which turned to be a nightmare after I changed the number where I should get it. But it's being sent or I don't know why I am not getting it. They when I try multiple time they say that they have sent me a lot of OTPs and I should try later.

Spot on with your tips :). The only thing I've been unsure on is about building an email list. It's against Amazon's TOS to include a link to an external email signup form. I think you can link to a form embedded on your own website though. And after seeing people have books blocked, I think you have to be super careful not to violate any TOS. Any thoughts on that? Also you can't create series' for low content books, but you can for medium content :)

It’s one of the rare videos, when you get specifics and not a lot of B.S. Who cares if someone sell a book 50 or 500 books if we don’t know the reasons for this (he/she could spend more on advertising that even didn’t brake even). Own research from reliable sources is most important. However, one has to learn how to do the research first, otherwise it’s just a waste of time. It’s not important that this video is long, because it has a good deal of important information. 👍

Good stuff! I've been figuring this all out over the past few years myself and my learnings basically mirror yours! I've started seeing some targeted 1 star reviews as well which is frustrating, but perhaps part of what happens when you're ranking well for terms or perhaps even because of being a youtuber.

I self-published a couple of novels in 2016-17. Even back then, successful KDP authors were having the experience of competitors leaving negatie reviews on their books. Obviously, the bad guys have gotten more skilled now.

This and all your videos are so helpful. This one really gave me a peak behind the curtain that I appreciated. I wish I would have found you and Cleo sooner in my KDP journey. You would have saved me so much time and money! You are such a wonderful couple and company. You have so much integrity and a value system that not many share in this space!
