I know there were others here, but dang Fed and Djokovic just seem so much more welcoming to their opponents after losses. Murray isn't bad, but I think Rafa just can't hide the disappointment as well

Fed normally doesn’t handle it well either. Sometimes he’ll force himself to smile a little bit tho and give the opponent props. But nadal yeah, he just scowls and gives a super quick, cold dap up with a nod and gets out of there as quickly as possible😂

@Allopecia lol acknowledged. I think even when they're injured and lose there's a difference as well. Generally, unless the other 3 are disrespected by the opp in loss, it's pretty standard

Federer losing to Donskoy was probably a blessing in disguise: If he'd gone deep in Dubai he may well not have won the Sunshine Double a few weeks later

He’s also got 2 ATP Nitto titles, but no Grand Slams. But he did come close at the USO20 against Thiem. Zverev was 2 sets up, and then went downhill from there.

At the time, when Nadal was doing good at Wimbledon, consistently, it was. However, TennisTV can't do anything with it because the GS are part of the ITF.

Each grand slam its like 5 upsets. Like Pella - Cilic 2018 wim, Mahut - cecchinato RG 2019, berankis - shapovalov wim 2019. This just what I remember without looking up.

Fed losing to Ramos (a clay court player) in Shanghai (the fastest court on tour) is a very disappointing result. It proves that anything is possible anywhere.

Only ATP tour matches. GS matches are held by ITF - a different body and local country Tennis Association have right for them not ATP/Tennis TV

@simon Eds well... Debatable. I dont think he played super poor, but even Rafa said he let that one slide and was super angry with his play and with himself afterwards that he didnt win. And he s not the kinda guy to state to the press that he played poor and thus let a match slip that he should have won

Slams are organised by the ITF and not the ATP, TennisTV only have the distribution rights for the latter events, which is everything from 250 up to the ATP finals, the Slams and Davis Cup are ITF events so don't fall under that umbrella.

Ha ha.. Novak defeated him in 3 Wimbledon finals... Say no more. Ans to answer your doubt ,less ranked players sometimes play out of the world against these three top guys.. Btw out of his 20 gs ..only 3 wins against rafa and 2 or 3 against novak.. In all fed is definitely the weak era player

Nole after losing: „not too bad” showing respect to opponent. Rafa after losing: quick handshake and pat, leaving court ASAP, acting like a child and deluded loser. And Rafa won sportsmanship award for what? Don’t get me wrong he’s a great player probably kind person too. But not sportsmanship enough.

I remember Nadal waiting for Djokovic after the Wimby SF loss. Don't think Djokovic does anything like that. Don't overdo the sportsmanship part Molefarm. While I don't hate Djokovic, fans like you degrade his reputation too. Sometimes a player may be disappointed by the way he choked the match, like Nadal choked against Shapo, doesn't mean you deride him.

Federer played shit on the big points. Quite surreal when he had been so clutch at AO and then after at IW and Miami. He had many clutch moments but choked some matches.
