It is very nice that at the beginning you took into account that you do not need to use 100 different markers and buy the most expensive markers, but it is important to be a good student. The pen's called Sarasa select and they need special refills. You can get the refills from amazon or jet pens. I think they are called multi-pen refills.

That pink empty Sarasa is a Sarasa select and it’s a multi pen. You have to buy the refills for it separately. You can check out jet pens for more info and the refills. Hope this helps. 😊

Omg the pilot frixion erasable highlighters are amazing! I have the pack with 3 in them but they’re like my favorite highlighters. And mildliners are great too but being able to erase is a plus!!

Its really tempting to buy the "whole colors of the rainbow" set of pens XD but I learned that while studying/note taking that only few colors only stood out for me so I try to find a Small pack (6 colors) that contains certain colors that works for me. I wanna buy them but seeing the tempting packaging, I'm good 😄🤣

When I write notes in class I usually write with frixion erasable pens. Writing with a pencil is fine but I personally like having some colors when I’m taking notes (black for everything, blue for vocab, red depends on the class but is typically dates, people, formulas, etc.) When I get home I rewrite those notes in another notebook where it’s super pretty. Another thing that I do (at least in my classes where I need to learn a topic in my textbook then go to class with that knowledge) I like to keep it simple for those too. Honestly my AP notebook looks like garbage compared to fancy notes, but it still looks nice and is easy for me to keep it organized without all the colors and different colored highlighters to have to pick out. I love all the pretty notes people have, and I do use it for my easier classes, but for the most effective notes trying to make it aesthetically pleasing and neat just takes time away from actually working for me. One thing I ALWAYS do when I’m writing my notes at home before we go over them in class is writing questions on a post it note next to the note that sparked the question. It makes it easy for me to remember my thought process at the time, and helps me get the most out of class time
