I’m sharing my SP story in the comment section of each of the teachers on KZbin who helped me find the truth… Yesterday I realized that my SP has really come back. Suddenly, we're having 1-2 hour long conversations.. he's showing me affection by flirting… he’s telling me personal things about him. He doesn't seem to have the resistance he used to (I mean, of course, that I don't!) He already asked me to travel with him next year. He told me he misses me. This is all coming a whole year after our false start. This summer I started manifesting and changing my self-concept. A couple of weeks ago, after five months doing the work, I realized that my energy has truly changed. I feel comfortable with myself. I even feel comfortable being alone. I know that everything I want is already mine. I know he loves me. I knew intuitively that it was time for me to reach out to him. That's when I messaged him and during the conversation I was confident, affectionate. There was no manipulation like I used to do before; I showed him my real self, my core of love. Within the next couple of days, everything changed. Since the summer, I’ve used affirmations that I repeat every day. No set amount, I’m just sure to repeat them when I’m walking somewhere or have nothing to do. I also visualized however I could. Nighttime visualization is hard for me because I fall asleep too fast but I’d at least try to squeeze in a short visualization of me being in his hug; the feeling of being loved; him telling me he loves me. Sometimes I visualize before naps or just while meditating. At first, this was like therapy; it helped me through the pain I felt. Sometimes I let go because I was feeling obsessive, but I came back when I was in the right state of mind again. Eventually, I rarely felt pain when I thought about him and the feeling of him in my visualization became almost more real than the 3D, and I realized I was no longer searching the 3D. (A note- I looked at his social profiles every single day but it was more like me saying hello to him without actually writing to him. I wasn’t looking for evidence in the 3D about him. I wasn’t actually following him either. If his follower numbers changed I didn’t care. I’d just say hello with my energy and go on with my day.) I felt resistant to the idea that he could be mine in the beginning because so much time had passed, I’ve acted out before, and he’s a wealthy, handsome man… I was assuming that other women must be in the picture and that I’m a second choice. There were many other reasons too that I won’t write here. But that all transformed into a quiet confidence that was perfectly delusional, just as it should be. And now… it’s not delusional. Even my girlfriends are saying, “No, I always knew he loved you and was just unsure about your feelings.” Nothing in my world is reflecting the old story anymore. A couple of weeks ago I would have said, "I create my reality (because that's what the teachers tell me to say and I'm doing it)" Now, I can say in front of you all-- I create my reality. I have the proof. Persist, persist. If you want it, persist. It will be yours. Have patience, have fun and work on yourself. Thank you so much to my wonderful teachers. You all opened my mind. It feels so good to heal from all of the unnecessary self-inflicted hurt. The money manifestations are next..

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have one question. When you reached out to him in the past did he ignore you or leave you on read? Or was he always open to having conversations but just not interested in dating?

@@TheDivineShiver Honestly it was a mixture of both. Sometimes he wouldn't respond for days. I do remember there was a time or two at the beginning of the year that he didn't respond at all. This was one of the things that had me tripping and blowing my fuse in messages... He's not a casual communicating type though, I realized that later. He performs well in public but he's actually very introverted. Doesn't look at his phone all the time.

I love how each time you revisit a topic, it gives us an opportunity to expand and deepen our understanding and more fully grasp concepts. The first time I heard the ACIM quote "History would not exist if we did not keep making the same mistake in the present," my brain went into overdrive trying to figure it out. But now it seems so simple and obvious: "history" only exists to us because we believe in it. Obviously, if we did not buy into it, it would cease to exist for us.
