YRF was good until Yash Chopra ji was alive.. he made the brand iconic with films like Chandni, Kabhi Kabhi, Darr, Dil To Pagal Hai.. Aditya maintained and elevated the corporate aspect of the studio... but without soul or heart. Now we get Thugs Of Hindostan, Shamshera or Pathaan.

No bro you misunderstood the situation thugs and pathan are nowadays movies which were very different from YRF 2000s movies in which every song was masterpiece, it was under Aditya rule at that time. Even the disaster movies had iconic movies in that era like Tashan, Tara rum pum but nowadays even superhit movies don't have iconic music.

@vishal-et1ue Lamhe se itna koi bada loss nahi hua tha. Flop har company deti hai. Before that, Chandni was a mega blockbuster, and even after Darr.. they made hits like Yeh Dillagi, Aina.. I can agree that SRK made Dharma Productions .. because late Yash Johar ji was not a very commercially successful producer. Karan Johar's career, in a way, was made by SRK. But Yash Chopra didn't need anyone.. if he took any other actor for Darr in those times, it would still be a hit.

Now no. 1 production house of bollywood is red chillies entertainment. Coz it's has successful subsidiary companies like kkr group, kidzania, vfx, color department, gauri khan design, restaurant etc. So overall annual source of income of company is around 600-700 cr annually without releasing movie of production house. If they release movie,income generate more. So kkr group is now unicorn company alone. Mean it's alone valuation is 1.2 billion dollar. It's fucking huge amount in rupees.
