See, I also do what he does, I go to people's homes, and repair their mowers, tractors snow Blowers. I tell them no warranty is included with my work, cause of the cheaper then pro shop price, if they want a warranty take it to a pro shop, but if they do that, they won't see their tractor, and or mower for a few weeks to months, and they will be paying an arm, and a leg for the work. Usually a pro shop will come pick up the tractor, and charge them 25 U. S. dollars, then take it back to their shop, where it sits for days, weeks even, then they mark up their prices on parts, and 70 U. S. dollar an hour for labor, then once done they take the tractor back, and another 25 dollars delivery fee, I don't do that, I come to thier house, do the work that day, get paid much cheaper then the shop, but no warranty, which I may say, my work is top notch.

Smart move. Last week I had a similar incident. I politely declined a job and the dude went insane. He wrecked my Yelp and FB review scores with fake/lying reviews. And then texted me till 4am. He even lured me out on a fake service call under another name and number and then cussed me out when I realized I had been duped. Turns out the guy has a criminal record for possession of a weapon and harassment in NY. It’s been a nightmare! Avoid the crazies at all cost!!!!

First mistake is telling customer their mechanic is at Walmart whether buying parts / supplies kids clothing, Christmas shopping or feeding the homeless... its none of their business.... Always lock down ballpark day / time window Personally here in S. Fl. Being appt based only I never let the customer make appt. I do ask them what's the best part of day morning or afternoon Then I set the time window 8-9 10-11 1:30-2:30 or whatever pending job details and location with my other appts and 95% of time works out... The ones I avoid are the ones that calls / online business inquiry for quote inquiry proceeding to tell me they started working on it or they have parts and tell me it's easy job I just have a bad back or no time or they'd do it....those calls I ironically tend to be fully booked unable to commit to any new appts...

It doesn't matter if it was a communication in time what the moral of this story is if someone is already yelling at you when you're trying to help them out doesn't matter what time you get there as long as you told him at 11:00 and they said 11:00 whether it was a mistake on their side or your side you are doing them a favor even if they're paying you you're going to their house to do the job! There should be no disrespect from the customer, if there is then you don't want a customer like that. You can do another job for someone else and get paid much more with less hassle

If she wanted him there earlier she should've told him " I want you to be here at 8am". But also he should've asked her for a specific time. So the problem was caused by both parties. In my business I don't do generic terms. Too much room for error. I always set a specific time.
