@MultiFortunate1 It was at River Stage. And that place was PACKED. It's a really different experience from 2000-ish people at Fortitude Valley Music Hall (where Pub Choir normally is held).

My JPY moment... In 1976 Radio 2SM gave a free AC/DC concert on a barge off Milsons Point under the Harbour Bridge & John Paul Young supported them. When he came onstage (wearing his sailor suit) a whole bunch of screaming girls stripped off to bras and panties, dived into the water, and swam out to the stage, where they tossed their bras onto the stage. As a 15 year old guy, this scene is indelibly stamped in my mind!

But how come the biggest acts in the world were immigrants and came through Australia? Every time I watch one of these there comes a point where I get all judgemental about the obvious extroverts in the crowd mugging for the camera or just anybody around them - you know the type. And every time I watch one of these, less than a minute in I get swept away by the complete unbridled joy on display and remind myself to stop being such an arse. I look forward to many more.

as someone who was there and has done Pub Choir several times, its not about camera hogs. Your second sentence is the accurate one. I took two people who were not convinced they would have a great night and they are on camera doing just that. I hope you are somewhere Pub Choir goes so you can experience it.
