It is not uncommon hustle, Freddie the Beard is a great player the man on the left is better but at this time, Vernon Elliott suffered a stroke in 2006, I believed he died that year. Typical hustler story and told the right way. You can't let people get to owning you too much, they simply won't pay.

Wow, what a crazy story. I couldn't quite follow it at the end because the audio was bad. I know he beat him for 100K the first night and then they played again and he took him for another 100K so he was up 200K on Archie, but did I hear that The Beard, posing as this industrialist Billionaire eventually took Archie for 800K? Thats what I thought I heard. From what I could tell it sounds like Archie didn't end up paying the full 800K. Anyone follow better than I could? Is that correct?

You are indeed correct. I dont remember exactly what my dad told me at the time, but it was only about 100k. And there were other people involved. I do remember he gave me a 500 dollar snap when he got home.
