Word up Chris...the k20 is still rolling strong..had to park it because my heater core is clogged. I'm gonna block it off at the thermostat. Once it hits pressure it starts blowing out of the thermostat. But she's running good. I used my buddies Dyno tune. First oil change was clean..no metal..no sludge...no coolant..So I'm still very happy with it. Your block speaks for itself man. I just got a 99 ek and I have my gen 1 crv...I Almost wanna do a k swap..but I decided not to..we are gonna try to build a car for the track this year.

When i talked to you for the first time and annoyed you about H engines on instagram i just failed highschool and started to work a shitty job getting (illegally) low pay. I had a honda prelude i wanted to make faster and im gonna be honest..... the only reason i kept the prelude is because it had a cool retro dash lol. But then i wanted to tune the H engine and came to bother you with my ideas. When i started talking about my general interest with someone who just knows his craft (you), it made me realize what i really want. I was also in the dumps because i was depressed over failing highschool and other issues. The prelude i had was really what kept me together. Some time goes by and i start thinking about selling it, then i went home and saw someone wanting to sell a H22 head for 100 dollars. Complete head. A week or so later someone is selling a bare block with a scratched frm cylinder for cheap. I wanted to sleeve the engine anyway so this was perfect. All this time i started reading up on engines and specifically reading SAE papers about the H and F engines honda made. Now, i have an apartment with a balcony full of prelude parts thanks to this honda rabbit hole i ended up in lol. Im studying mechanical engineering now at the highest uni in my country and im trying to slowly piece my car together. I met so many honda guys and made many more new friends. I kept coming here as often as i could as i dont view VHB engines as a company at all, i honestly just saw it as a community that people loved. When others were buying engines from you, i saw the s2k you had bought and i was like "oh man, this guy is living the dream rn" and now youre moving and i honestly cant wait to see what you do next. Hopefully you find an RSX that you can enjoy at a reasonable price and i hope the best for you with the orlando move. I've just always seen VHB engines as a place to learn new stuff and learn from other commenters and its just very nice. Anyway man, thank you for all the knowledge and the time you spent with me in the DMs:) i will keep following this channel as much as i can and i cant wait for what you have next:) sidenote: The S2k is interesting to think about when it comes to engines because its a rwd car so you can even fit an inline 6 like an RB26 engine which can get to high rpm naturally aspirated. They are expensive engines but Nissan has started to produce the block and head again which can make it an interesting swap choice for sure.

The RSXs have always been one of the best looking cars. They got a bit of a bad rap for being a "girls" car for a long time. Prior to covid they were so cheap still. You could buy a junker type s for 2k and a good runner in the 3500+ range. I always thought of them as kind of the hidden gem but now it seems that everyone knows.

Yeah it's a special car. Think it had a lot of hype back in the day and it slowly fell off. Right now it's in that easy to get phase but I feel in another 10 years price will skyrocket

I always wanted to do a full oem k series build . Take all the best of the best parts from across all the oem k series and put it together. Like k24a2 block with 09 tsx pistons 11:1 compression , k20z3 head with tsx cams rbc intake manifold etc. I’m sure it’s been done somewhere .

Its called the Frankenstein Swap. Been done quite a bit. Works really well

@@rjnicolas4312 yeah I’m aware but a lot of people do it the easy way and just use a k24a1 or k24a2 short block and just bolt the k20 head to it . I’m saying like cherry pick all the best oem parts from all of the k series and doing the ultimate oem build. I’m sure it’s been done before I just can’t find any builds on KZbin of people who did it with detail .

So essentially thats my setup. From top to bottom. K20a2 head, TSX Cams, RBC cam gear. K24 head gasket, ARP Head studs, Bottom K24a2, Type S Oil pump. RBC intake, 70mm tb, custom intake. DC 4-1 RH, Buddy Club Spec II EXHAUST. A bunch of other supporting mods. Runs well, on E85, K Pro V4 (not tuned).

Yes bro make the move. I can't stand driving back down south I moved up here 3 yrs ago. I work in Orlando but I live 25 min away. Plenty jobs out here and pay is better. If you need a tech job I got you.

Orlando will be a good city and it’s a huge market for Hondas. Just do your research where you move because there are lot of shit areas where your Hondas will be gone in 60 seconds. I like the north part of the city, south side yah better have gps tracker on them cars.
