I have an 06 RSX base, everything I've read basically says to sale it and buy a Type S, but I'm not built that way. Going by what I know about forced induction builds, and from this video I think I'm on the right path. Would something like this work for 3-350whp? SBE, TSX Cams/VTec Killer, RBC Intake, something like a MHI 16G, E85, clutch, and KPro?

I am trying like mad to get my build together for my F23 Accord. it's an 01 automatic. I am a transmission builder and am building the BAXA all out with upgrades and updates as well as LSD and 3200rpm converter. I've sunk about $3k into the trans thus far on a 500hp build however my target hp is only 300whp. Next is the motor. I tore it down and it is beautiful (it had no issues operating). Cross hatch all the way up and down the cylinders. Compression was already great. Checked all valves and they seal perfectly still. Now what? Can I reliably handle 300whp on factory f23 pistons? I don't personally want to run 11:1 I would rather stay close to 9.5:1 with boost... However forged pistons are $900 per set. Would I be safe with factory pistons (re-ringed), H-beams and studs? I build transmissions and diesel engines for a living and this is my first Honda motor. I come humbly for your opinion! lol

An Internal combustion engine AkA and ice. Is a glorified air pump. Putting bigger lobes on the cam makes more power. That simple! So to sit there and say the locking Vtec. On anything other than a k series wont make power is silly. Bigger lobes equals more air in and out. With the right air fuel ratios you will make more power. And obviously adding a turbo would be ideal. The spool times should be reduced. Do to the better air flow through the engine.

can i put a2 pistons on an a3 rod

new si is a great daily beat down. put an intercooler for heat soak and intake if you want the noise. these head gaskets go bad stock so all depends on what you want and how much you wanna play and pay the consequences. for me it is a daily beat down as i have a car w/ power. like i said at some point i will put an intercooler for reduced heat soak. and fancy air filter when stocker is bad. seems for the gains vs price of parts it is just not worth it to tune them.

P73 itr pistons nippon rings king bearings cometic head gasket skunk 2 pro series intake manifold and skunk 2 alpha 70 mm throttle body head is full Brian crower valve train with dual valve springs and retainers I was curious if you know if it can handle 8lbs of boost?? I’m going to run a t3/t4 tx-50e turbo trim is .63 ar rated for 200-400+ wastegate is 7 psi this is a b series turbo kit from rev9 I spent about 1K on it please reply asap I need help thank you!!

Port the head cut a three angle vavle job bkend them then back cut the vavles and polish them and he could break 220 then change the pussy 2.5 exhaust to a 3 in and he could crack 240 that 2.5 is holding it back alot k motors love 3 in exhaust and this is fact and all you need is cast ebay type s pistons keep the stock a3 rods cause there lighter...alll that (not saying it will be every k20a3 its all in how much you port and hiw well its done) and you will have close to 280 thats fact but if you half ass the porting and dont check your poston deck hight as well as checking all tolerances and it is there i know its an old video but everyone thinks all motor ka3 motors are junk amd throw them away for a k24 amd its not needed and if you use a prb manifold amd shorten the trumpets and port that ypu get alot of low end torq sorry ill step down from my soap box for now

Exhaust you have to have a 3 in exhaust and iether full length header or a shorty that dumps to 3 in if hes using a ebay 2.37 cat back and cat that would be the reason why

THE K20A3 IS THE SAME CASTING AS THE K20A2 WITH THE K20A3 HAVING NO VTECH BUT YPU CAN MAKE AT LEAST 20 HP WITH USING THE A3 HEAD I KNOWNFOR A FACT

I expoyedy block guard in with block fill and drilled the water holes out it held for a long time on a k24 but in the end 38 pounds of boost won that batt😅but it did last for 2 years

You don't need a head swap just the a2 cams and a good intake and exhaust and your right at 200 a2 pistons and your close to 220 did all that and got 220 with kpro but because of my shitty wireing harness I torched a head and block wasn't bad but it now has another stock a3 as I rebuild the other but this time it's getting a3 h beam rods and possibly boost

I agree! I have a 22 civic si I use as a daily. It’s totally stock except stage 1/2 catch can. Stock all day. Glad I stuck with the si vs Integra. It’s a blast as a daily driver!

I have a k20a3 long block i an thinking about swapping just the head to a k20z1 just to get a hard kick with the head ?? Would that work better also haves bolts on a3 but i want to haves vtech swapping head to z1 can i make it worth??

Just had my d17 throw rod in #1 cyl. Bought my k20a3 back in February and now its time . I have ran outa money considering im a single father of 2 i take care of and not complaing i wouldnt trade my babies for the world ! Im trying to figure out how to get the most out of the a3 i did buy a skunk ultra series intake RBC and i bought the kpro v4 hondata ecu and a 06 rsx type s 6 spd tranny . I have a welder so im trying to get this done somehow and i know when your equipped with a welder anything is possible . Gonna try an finish is with the 05 civic subframe if i gotta cut grind and move stuff so be it . Its my daily and im in a bit of a pickle out here in KY , but my son and my daughter help me alot with the house stuff and the car and i dont wanna let them down . As of now im short the engine mount brackets and a upgrade on the throttle body , alternator and starter . I have everything else . I just subscribed to the channel and so far i absolutely love the hype of the k20 ! I have dreams of making 600 whp outa mine and it may take some time an money , but i will reach it ! Oh i also have wiseco forged pistons and H beam rodes . I wanna upgrade the crank with eagle but gonna have to wait . Love the videos man stay blessed and godbless all !!
