Funny you say that. I was racing bikes as a kid way back before they had disc brakes or mono-shocks and my body is fucked. Most days I struggle to walk properly & I have chronic pain. As soon as I saw this I remember everything my body had been through😂. Not sure it was worth it tbh ☹️

There’s a few garmin watches that’ll give you a pretty accurate reading for your altimeter, that way you can take the gauge off and get a little extra air.

God I miss doing that, I miss the rush, the adrenaline, not knowing if I'm going to case it or come out clean, that feeling in your stomach when your coming down, I miss those days I had no fear, then I had a kid and all of a sudden fear of "what if I get paralyzed and can't play with my kid or dead" I gave up a lot to be a Dad I still ride but not as hard as I used to.

During the broadcast of last week's Unadilla motocross, they sent the camera drone off of a jump and instead of coming down in the valley it just kept sailing and sailing to the other side. Weigandt and Emig in the booth and me at home all went whooooaaaa! Completely captured the feeling of flying a couple of hundred feet of that jump

Awesome jump! When I raced quad harescrambles in 2000-2002, they incorporated a MX track that had an 80ft tabletop. I recall hitting it with my modded 400ex in third gear (giving it beans on the approach). I was one foot from hitting the down slope (I landed flat on the tabletop). 20 years later, my right outer wrist still "talks" to me. To this day..."if I'd only given it full gas earlier..."
