Running a Simpson 4gpm 4200psi direct drive, ibc tote buffer tank, an inline 12 v 5.0gpm diaphram on demand booster pump, and added a secondary inline unloader set at lower psi than primary unloader which allows for it to bypass when off the trigger no issue.

Why wouldn't you just use a gear drive pump at 5.5+ at that point¿

Adding a second unloader was clever. 4200psi is too much anyway lol You definitely don’t need to run a booster pump from an IBC. I ran direct drive 4gpm off 50gal tank no issues for like 2 years. Run a 1” line minimum instead of 3/4, replace any inline filters with a banjo y strainer that’s got better flow. then right at the pump get a 1/2npt x 1” barb so there’s zero restrictions right up till it goes into the pump. Works like a charm.

What’s the best surface cleaner you recommend for a 4.2 GPM 4400 psi predator pressure washer? Also how much psi should I run to clean concrete?

When it comes to purchasing a surface cleaner, considering the GPM of your washer, a 16-20 inch size sounds like a good fit. I personally have the Whirl-o-Way, but in hindsight, I should have gone with a 16-inch Whisper Wash. Both are good options, but l've heard particularly great things about the Whisper Wash. Anything above 3000 psi is unnecessary to clean concrete . Especially if you are pretreating before surface cleaning 👍 hope that helps! Thank you for watching! 🙌🏼💯

Great video! Do you practice water reclamation? I'm in Texas and terrified to start a job without the proper equipment to reclaim or reuse the water. $50k fine/daily for the business and Resident is no joke.

Fortunately, I haven't encountered that issue myself. However, I recommend getting a sludge slucker. It attaches to your wand and allows you to suction up the water for disposal. Yes that’s perfect to start! I highly suggest the one I mentioned in the video but if you opt in for another washer just make sure you do your research and make an investment into a durable product and look online to make sure you’re getting the best price available. can't find that one on Google, I recommend checking out the one I suggested in the video-it offers the best value for the price. If it's not within your budget, you might consider starting with something super affordable at first, like a 2.8gpm gas-powered Ryobi for about $200-$250, and then upgrading to the Eagle Pressure Pro Il

also depends on what youre cleaning, SH is only good for bacterial growth so like mold mildew and algae, if its oil then youd spray a degreaser, if its rust youd spray a brightener or acid
