Damn nice trailer!! I wish rear dolly would be self centering, but then wheel steering of wheels would not work properly. SCS should really update the steering system to support self the centering trailers. Also then add manual control over trailer steering up to 30km/h so you can control the rear end especially when reversing.

@@TheCodeGaming I think self centering trailers shouldn't be too hard to add. The mechanical solutions are quite elegant with hydraulics and also possible with systems of connecting rods. So programmers should nail that with ease. And looking forward to a day when SCS partners with a heavy haul manufacturers to bring in heavy licensed trailers.

Oh God, can you imagine hauling this in the UK? The UK needs some love, desperately. I live near Sheffield and can tell you now, the roads and motorways look NOTHING like the game (and speed limits don't constantly change without warning). I'm brand new to this franchise, I LOVE hauling heavy loads, but good Lord, the ridiculously cramped UK roads with aggressive traffic and worthless blocker vans is probably harder than doing it in real life!

This is true for The Netherlands as well. The road design for highways and going into cities is nothing like in my country and is why I have switched off speed fines, because I continued to try and go off on road design and sign placement to indicate a behavior change and completely get caught out by surprise because a speed restriction from highway speed down to 50 would just be thrown at me. And then there's entries to highways, which in my country are never ever using yield signs, just like there's way to many intersections using STOP-signs... As much as they got some things right in other countries, they literally missed the mark on The Netherlands (which might be a scale-thing honestly, but still).

For us, the ministries of transport seem to have a primary mandate of "control what is legal any time two traffic flows meet", while across the pond it seems to be about continuous flow, with the rule of thumb being "use the least restrictive control mechanism possible."

Ok, it’s a game, but in real life it’s immposible do this type of job due day light. In several moment you have put your tractor in lock position (90 degres with your trailor) there is no possible way to stop, and move again. Expetialy in reverse. Why all four warning lights if you have beacon lighte turn on? No bad feelings, it’s just a game. In real life it’s not that easy and simple ;) p.s sorry for bad englis, im from croatia

And at 28:30, when you took that turn, if you had taken that turn wide your truck was not going to have problems like you did!! You were taking turns too narrow!! And on the next turn you did the exact same thing and faced problems while turning!! 😊😊😊

I like heavy loads, but IMHO Palermo roundabout passing on grass would be show stopper for front trailer trolley and maybe even for your truck. Drive on edges of hard surface and let steerable trolleys do their job.

From the couple of big transports like this I've seen he has video camera screens of the left and right side so he can keep control of both sides that way. And in some cases that person would be controlling the countersteering axles, and the person at the deck on the back would be in control of checking hydraulic pressure and braking if necessary. They are pretty interesting machines honestly, I never fail to be amazed that we can built stuff like that as humans ;).

12:30 that's just never gonna happen in real life and I do this work in real life I steer the rear manually, you would have preplanned permitted routes police escorts, traffic management would have any removable obstacles cleared and spotters at each pinch point, Collett and sons, alleleys and a few others have these girder setups for the UK, still looks class though
