I'm a Portland Thorns fan, but I love the fact the nWSL is the most` balanced and competitive Women's league in the world, I would stop following it if someday it becomes as most European leagues that are dominated by 1 or 2 teams even if one of those teams were the Thorns.

i think Lily Johannes will play in the WSL also, next season. Ajax is not longer the team they were last season with that strong CL-performance.

More money to play in an easier league? Sounds like a smart choice. They need CL to have serious competition. As with the men's game, there are very few teams who will compete for the English league. Far more are involved in the NWSL

@ Sure, Eurotrash, keep telling yourself that. Not quite sure about the difference between club and country, yet you claim to know soccer? Sure. There are good coaches everywhere. Meanwhile, she came to coach the best national team in the world, so she moved up. Even with that, international game is much more of a challenge than is the WEPL, that's why she took on the bigger challenge. At club level, my original text stands.

Yes the USWNT has an English Manager but the England WNT has a Dutch manager. Why is nwsl losing a good player and moving European clubs . When I saw a new player signing for nwsl clubs, they came from college, and most of them are not good or fitted. Why did this thing happen for nwsl because of the budget . Nwsl must bring good players through the world. Otherwise, it's not a good future for Nwsl .

it's also about the football culture in the UK, imo. Part of long-existing clubs often. Also a strong league (like nwsl), with the top 5 possibly playing CL-games against teams like Barca and Real, Bayern and Wolfsburg,, Juventus and Roma, OL and PSG... some difficult Scandinavian teams...
