Then he put children in cages and people only woke up to it when they saw a 2014 picture and thought it was Trump. Well it just shows how blindly people follow the media. As a Chilean, I can say the 2019 protests did NOT only have dead and injured people, but also people who got arrested for absolutely nothing or for being part of this. With time passing before 2020, there are more dead and injured people here in Chile. I hate our current government, which is extreme right-sided. In our country, capitalist politics are known as right-sided and socialist politics are known as left-sided. And on the left side, everyone teams up with others except for the communists (extreme left-side). Hence why there's yellow-sided people, which sometimes are left-sided and sometimes are right-sided.

This list needs to be updated already. India's farmers protest just set a new record. they say 250 million. As I write this, the Indian government passed 3 laws basically allowing farmers to sell directly to corporations, Removing the current system of a middleman where there was a government market that ensured minimum sale price for their crops. The main issue is, there is no protection for the farmers in the new laws, No minimum fixed price that the farmer can sell for no matter who buys it. If a corporation doesn't pay a farmer, the farmer cant file a lawsuit, just a police report (And the police in India is public, not private). The government ignored the protests for months while the farmers protested in their own states, so the farmers decided to go to the capital, New Delhi. The government placed many barricades along their 500 km journey, including digging up a national interstate highway , just so the farmers do not advance. As i type this. farmers have surrounded and set a blockade around the capital from all sides. They claim to have brought 6 months of food along with them and have a supplies ready in case more supplies are needed.

(he is now a honorable hero). they prayed to mama mary (catholic) around EDSA Avenue. there were soldiers as well, instead of fightign against them, they gave them food, flowers etc. soon they realized shit was going on and protested as well. it's somehow super dramatic (atleast in my head)
