The reason Dotson is not catching passes hurts doesn’t look to his left. Ever. Look at the int he throw in the end zone against the saints. In the left side of the field Dotsons wide open, someone else is wide open, and the entire eagles left side of the line moved everyone to the right. He coulda ran or threw to two open guys but instead forced it to Devonta and it got intercepted. If you throw ints because you can’t trust professional receivers than you shouldn’t be a professional qb. Hurts is this teams problem.

The Defensive line alignment is TRASH. That’s why Derek Barnett is looking like a Pro-bowler in Houston. DTs need to be pushed further away from each other (3-tech) When you start saying everyone looks questionable is when you have to question the defensive system. The same discussions were had the year Chip Kelly was fired…better defensive system installed 2 years later SB victory.

@UltraRonin7912 сағат бұрын
Turnover worthy plays is a more important stat to look at when evaluating a QB than interceptions or even lost fumbles. Last year, Hurts still had a very low turnover worthy plays stat - which means he wasn't as bad as it looked like he was if you just look at the number of official turnovers. He wasn't really putting the ball in harms way. A few balls got tipped. A few came off of receiver drops. A few were good throws that the dB just made an excellent play on. That isn't the case this season. He has one of the highest turnover worthy play rates in the NFL through 4 games, and most of those turnovers are 100% his fault. So far, he has been much worse this year than he was last year. Not good!

Having AJ, Devonte & Lane back in the lineup should certainly boost Jalen's confidence (AJ & Lane were close two weeks ago, would think Devonte least likely but great if all were ready). As well as Saquon has been playing the Eagles have two other good backs and hope they get used more in the rotation (both running & catching the ball). Think the O-line has been creating holes that any of them could exploit. Like the idea of keeping all the backs competing, engaged & fresh (& such has worked for the Eagles in the past..) plus help keep the opponents D guessing. As far as wager between Dave & Reuben concerning who will be the Eagles starting LB down the road clearly it won't be Devin White (released today.. & of course at the same time this podcast was released, so Howie strikes again.. 😏 ). Liked the first question/comment by the fan from England. Think panic around state of team a bit premature, but this next game will be very important. Coming off the bye week against the Browns & at home the Eagles should win (& rather comfortably). Still worry about Cleveland's defense & turnovers (for upsets happen every week in the NFL). The two things (fumbles & interceptions) that could really turn the day brown 💩.
