The 1990 3-peat squad came up short. 1998 squad that saw Garrison Hearst have a multiple season ending injury vs. the Falcons, who would go on to play in the Super Bowl. In 2012 and 2013, they were expeto be be able to finish what 2011 started - they didn't. 2020 is on this list, but so should 2021, 2022, and 2023. 2024 isn't looking so hot. Honorable mention: The 2010 squad was not expected to win a ring, but they were expected to make the playoffs - and rightfully so, as the 2011-2013 squads would make 3x NFC Championship games and a super bowl, but the 2010 squad obviously needed a better head coach, and they got one. Jerry jones also never traded for a WR for Romo as well(unless you count Roy “bust” Williams who was traded for because of injuries to miles austin ). If Romo doesn’t break his finger the 2008 cowboys most likely make the playoffs. They only needed 1 more win.

@@calcaleb7041 he didn’t have a top o line until 2014 season (his last full season starting). The same season Demarco Murray broke out and had a great season. I’m not sure if you actually watched the cowboys back then but Romo got hit a lot which is why he had so many injuries. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJvPemyIn753fKMsi=5IvTO5DtqBvVNFvp

The greatest part about sports is that just assembling talent together doesn’t always work. It always takes a process unless you’re the Golden State warriors in 2017

Great vid i forgot about some of these teams! Have you ever done a vid like this with hyped teams that got busted in the first round of the playoffs like the 15-1 vikings or the 2008 titans?

2012 Texans come to mind to me too. But vid definitely right about 2013 Texans. Ppl were hyped in Houston

You can put the falcons on this list after this season. And guess what? Kirk cousins was apart of 2 teams on this list. Dude can’t play with the media lights on the team.

We'll see, tough schedule to start the season and they sit rn at 2-2. Still a young season but we'll see.

A lot of these teams had to deal with switches at QB or just untrustworthy QB situations, certainly hurts when your star QB gets injured

my bears in 2019 are one too. coming off of the 12-4 record we were on such a high, then that high got killed when we went 8-8 and missed the playoffs.

I had high hopes for the 2018 Vikings, but they were crushed under a mass of inept linemen. O-Line woes plagued most of the Mike Zimmer era.

I think the 1995 browns should be on here. Cleveland went 11-5 in 1994, with the nfl's #1 ranked defense. In 1995, they started 3-1, and at the halfway point in the here, they were tied for 1st place in the afc central, after getting to 4-4 with an overtime win at Cincinnati. Then came the announcement that the browns would be moving to baltimore, and everything changed. The browns lost 37-10 at home to the oilers, and it would not be the last. Cleveland endured a 6 game losing streak after the move was announced. The offense was the 6th worst in football, scoring less than 18 points a game in those final 8 games. The defense also took a hit, too, ranking 20th out of 30 teams. Cleveland lost their final game as the old browns to the expansion jaguars, who were 3-12
