Thats what i did to mine, purple springs in back, blue in front, both ends krankd way down on the adjusters and 2000 cst diff oil inside. Thinking about going to either 3000 or 4000...

Adam Bahnsen I have not messed with my differentials at all but I have blue springs in the back, and pink in the front with 60 wt shock oil in all the shocks. I also have the traxxas Teflon Coated shocks and shock shafts with the adjusters fairly tight and proline badlands mx38’s.

@@TylerSaleik That diff fluid i quoted in my last comment isnt in my diffs, thats what im using in my shocks. 100wt shock oil wasnt enough for my taste so i went to diff oil and its MUCH better!

@@TylerSaleik It will still bottom out, but ive got to go higher than 8ft and land on a flat surface to do it. You loose articulation for crawling and its bouncier in grass, but, it lands better from jumps plus it slows down how fast the suspension extends in the air so you dont have to worry about adding limiting straps to stop shock ends from ripping out. At some point though, ill have to switch to metal preload adjusters, spring retainers and shock rod ends due to the high level of spring preload that i run. Been running with this setup for bashing for almost a year now and all ive broken is my wing mount. I do have a second set of shocks i put in for when i go crawling that uses the stock springs and 40wt shock oil. I do run some big battery packs (SMC 10,500mah 2s and 7,200mah 3s) that add a good amount of weight to the truck hence my rather beastly suspension setup. Plus, i didnt like the thought of adding limiting straps to solve an issue that suspension tuning could fix.

Kev if you move your rod ends to the inner mounting hole to raise it up and put stiffer purple marked springs like I did it will absorb impact much better and prevent rod ends from popping off. The E-Revo is amazing i use mine at the skate park all the time and then I switch up wheels gears and suspension and drag race it too.

So many people bad mouth the Revo. I've had one for several months and have crashed the hell out of it a few times. Pulled a set of rear rod ends once, but after buying a new set, ZERO problems. The Revo is fast and can pull stunts like no other. Not as stable and easy to control as the Xmaxx, but that's apples and oranges.

Hi Kevin, I also have an e-Revo 2.0 and also have had problems with the rear suspension ... I skirted the problem lining the parts with carbon fiber DIY (then I send a video with the mess that went into doing this). Another thing, I do not know if it has problem but ... at the beginning of the video (1:25) I noticed that the Hollow Ball seems to have been mounted upside down. I love your videos, congratulations here from Brazil!

Why I and MANY others have boycotted Traxxas: 1) Baseless Claims - I need to do more research because Traxxas has filed too many baseless claims to keep track of them all, but I will point out 2 key events that have dramatically impacted the industry. First was around 2014 when Traxxas sued HPI for patent infringement by using a rubber seal to copy their idea for a "waterproof Rx box". Keep in mind that HPI legally reverse engineered the design and came up with a new shape/geometry with no direct copy molds. In theory this case should've been thrown out of court, but I'll explain why this didn't happen in a little bit. There's no definitive proof that this lawsuit was a direct or indirect cause, but HPI would go bankrupt and was chopped up into multiple pieces and sold off to multiple buyers around 2016. HPI never fully recovered with roughly 3/4 of their product line discontinued. Then later in 2016, Traxxas did it again but to ARRMA with a lawsuit over cantilever style suspension where ARRMA legally reverse engineered a new geometry... and by 2018, ARRMA, along with dozens of other companies who rolled up under Hobbico would go bankrupt and ultimately get chopped up and sold to multiple buyers. This time things were far worse, instead of just discontinuing majorities of product lines, there were complete brands that were shut down. 2) Buying a patent - It would be one thing if Traxxas was truly the first to innovate a concept that has never before been seen, but rubber seals and cantilever shocks have been used in the automotive industry for decades. It really makes no sense that they would buy patents for something they didn't invent themselves unless their only intention was to bully their competitors. Yes this is legal, but I personally feel that it's not ethical where we are seeing more harm than good come from it. 3) Solely enforce patent rights - this one is kinda self explanatory, don't get me wrong, I have seen some "direct copy/clones" of Traxxas products from manufacturers over seas which IMO are blatant IP theft, and in those cases, I fully support Traxxas in protecting their designs. That's really the purpose of patent law provided it's not being abused, which leads right into the final straw. 4) Venue Shopping - Traxxas filed their cases in a part of Texas that is well known to have a judge who notoriously finds in favor of the plaintiff and 45% of all patent cases in the US were filed in this region during this time period. This explains the bias of why none of these cases were ever thrown out of court, the judge had specialized in hearing patent cases which suggests corruption all the way around with Traxxas taking full advantage of the system to effectively obliterate their competition. The Supreme Court has since fixed this problem and going forward, all new patent cases must be heard within the defendants jurisdiction which now takes away the "home field advantage" and levels the playing field so defendants will have a fighting chance to actually defend themselves within reason.

Chassis not everything anymore. Arrma chassis' last and there are easy fitting options now. I miss driving my E-R2.o and I loved the way it pounced at lower speeds and smaller stunts. Fun to see it articulate and roll into turns so well. Good driving truck. As a big basher or flat out beast, it won't compare to Arrma line up. But no problem. All trucks don't need to be bashed and blasted. Get several and enjoy every detail fast and slow, slick or bumpy, not all trucks are built to be huge air jumpers... All good fun still. To the hobby alone is where we need to stay loyal first.
