Here is another video from one of our fossil hunts, make sure to stick around to the end of the video to see the special fossil at the end! This is an insight into the past, what life was like 180 Million Years Ago even before many of the most famous land-dwelling Dinosaurs ever existed.

It is good to see ones where you try so hard but don’t succeed but it’s actually best because it shows people to be patient and that even professionals rarely get a good find!

That Vert is incredible. I'm no expert, but I notice it has only one rib attachment (an Apophysis) characteristic of tail verts!! (verts above the tail usually have two - a Diapophysis and a Parapopphysis at increasing distances apart). In otherwise this vert was one of the smaller! ones in the specimen it came from - so is must be from an absolutely gigantic Ichthy. (if I'm right that is : no doubt someone with more technical Ichthy knowledge can correct/confirm)

Hey VooV I managed to find and record a cell that had died mid-mitosis but unfortunately the file size was too large to upload so I’m going to have to tweak it around a bit then I’ll post it. Also would you like a compilation of all my different specimens so you can decide what you’d want to take a look at? (I may be baking a bit pushy but I just want an excuse to record something!)

Wow do you know what the species those vertebrae belong too? Shastasaurus is one of the largest but the vertebrae are relatively tall compared to their length (down the spine) and although that second one is almost BIGGER than Whitby fossils shastasaurus vertebrae, it’s quite thick so I doubt it’s a shastasaurus vertebrae
