I am glad you have been doing the kind of exploring for massive fossils I haven't been able to do since 1968 when I entered medical school in México. Now I'm 5 years retired from practice and still yearning for excitement going abroad to explore and work over fossils.

I just had to share this...two of my passions are paleontology and vintage U.S. muscle cars, channels like Vice Grip Garage etc. I'm subscribed to many of each. When I saw your thumbnail for this video, I guess my brain was in classic auto mode because I saw an old tire with tractor-like tread in the dirt of a wrecking yard or something. I was at a local trail riding my bike when I wanted to go on the old trail tracks so I go up there and on the ground in the rocks next to the tracks there’s a full ammonite sitting there unbroken

When I was a kid, I used to fossil hunt. But the only things I could find were some fossil bivalve’s and crinoids. We have a lot of local limestone in the area. My dad years ago went to a big quarry and found a couple of trilobites, one was quite nice, I still have it somewhere. Always wanted to find ammonites, but either this was the wrong area for them or the glaciers ground them away. Keep it up….
