We buy too much just to dispose of it when we're tired of it. It's amazes me how you can redo items and decorate things that I could never have thought of. I absolutely love that cubby! I have so much stuff that a cubby like that would be perfect. I don't have anything I could put a cubby like that on. I have been utilizing whatever wall space I can. I'm thinking if I find the right table to put in my living room, I could probably do a cubby. The trick is finding the right table and the perfect cubby!

Oh my gosh... too cute and lots of fun styling it up. Idea 💡 Those metal tags have holes on the ends so why not screw them into the front of the cubby and save space and give depth. I know Exactly what you're saying! I make unique things with the honest intention to list on Etsy & then I fall in love with it & can't sell it & can't replicate it. My friends kid me that I require adoption papers when I sell them a doll. Lol. Carry on. You can have it. Keeping this one thing doesn't make you a hoarder.

You know what I think it may have been...well I'll tell ya, maybe it was a mail sorter at a hotel, or general store, way back in the day when folks used to actually live in hotels and their mail would be delivered to the front desk clerk, who would then separate it and stick it in the numbered (according to room number) slots. My grandparents had a cubbie like this in their General Store and the mailman would deliver all the mail for their route number to them and then one of them, either grandma or grandpa would sort it and put it into slots. Yes, back in the day the mail was delivered to General stores instead of individual rural mailboxes. They closed their store before I was born, but they had a lot of cool things left over from the store and when I got old enough my siblings & cousins and I would play in their garage/storage building where they kept all the cool stuff. The cubbie they had didn't have sliding doors on it though. So I don't know, maybe yours was something entirely different, but it sure reminds me of the one we played with way back in the day. Just thought I would share that. It looks so cool with all of your littles in the slots. Now you have to shop for more littles! Yay! Take care, try to stay cool. xx

I would make the back of the cubby the front with those doors, cover up the other side with thin wood backing, and use it for storage.

I love little miniatures also. I need to find a cubby to put them all in that is a solid wood. I have coke and Pepsi crates that work good but I had rather keep the cubby neutral. Love that one you got❤

This cubby turned out amazing. I'm like you in that I just love cubbies. I don't know what it is about them that draws me to them, but I think they are so neat, You've got it decorated so beautifully too. The whole time you were filling in your cubby slots all I could think about were bottle brush trees, shiny brite ornaments, small nativity pieces and putz houses. How fun! I have quite a few shadow boxes and cubbies that I’m always filling up with treasures but Christmas is a whole new ball game. I have no doubt you will be finding more smalls!!! Just to mention to you Yvonne that from the videos I can tell your complexion is getting more healthy again so I wasn’t surprised you were making progress in your journey back to health. When you have 2 sisters-in-law in the cosmetology field you learn a great deal about skin and hair. Still praying you to get healthier every day though and for Chris as he lives through this as well. I feel like playing "I spy with my little eye!" You are adorable styling up your cubby, it was SO much fun watching this video. Carry on!! I have a thing for tattered & torn bibles as well. We have a thrift store where the bibles are always free. Nobody wants them so I scoop them up, clean them & give them a special spot in my home. The best one I found had gold edge pages with a soft yellow leather cover with a broken gold zipper closure but, who cares!
