Yours is the place offering me creative courage. You give me permission to accept all my many artistic self criticisms and lack of confidence. You remind me that 'there are no rules', and everything deemed imperfect or a downright "failure" in my eyes, are turned into new opportunities or initially unrecognized textural, colourful or constructional elements. Thank you for inspiring me, for your emphasis on using repurposed materials (so important to me environmentally and financially). I love ALL of your projects, and look forward to this inevitable cold Canadian winter (in isolation too), to hunker down and pass my days being half as productive as you! Thank you Jeri, you are valued, appreciated and so very talented! ❤️

My granddaughter is an artist and has had crohns disease since she was a toddler. Suffered so much getting diagnosed was another problem. It took forever to get help for her. She did infusions every 3 weeks forever. On Steroids when young and putting on weight and kids making fun of her eating so much. She did self portraits of herself and so dark. She suffered so much. She is teaching classes for a few years while in high school and worked and now in college. She is amazing. Thank you for sharing. I need to watch more of your videos.

burnout art, indeed. Yes, I think I could buy some wool pieces from your etsy shop, with huge gratitude. Hugs. Look what comes from burnout. Wow! the chairs he made! They're gorgeous. Oh yes, the other thought I had when you said creepy babies. Linda found an old messed up doll and sliced open her head. Now the head is a planter for one of Linda's succulents. Almost a little too creepy for me, but it gives her pleasure. And then I'll find arms and legs out in some arrangement somewhere. It's fun to live amid someone else's creativity.

Jeri…thanks for kind reply! I live in Drums, Pa…in a lake community on the mountainside. (between Hazleton and Wilkes Barre.) I used to live in historic Bethlehem, Pa. For some reason I thought your tiny home was in Florida…forgive my senior moment. I spent a lot of summers in Avalon, NJ and used to walk over to Cape May when tide was low. Great memories. I was widowed 20 years ago and moved back to PA after a long and wonderful corporate career inside the Beltway. After my retirement I became a self-taught artist and now I just play with a ton of creative stuff….quilting, painting, watercolor, crochet, furniture rehab, you name it. You are a kindred spirit! So happy to have found you.

I looked at that and misread it, wishful thinking, LOL! I’m in the 15905 area, Western PA, outside of Pittsburgh.

Hello fellow Pennsylvania; I am located in the Pocono mountain region. Do you offer classes? and if so anything near me? thanks

Oh you might be the closest subscriber so far! I’m not doing in person classes at this time. Do you ever shop at the big flea market up there?! 💜

I went a little crazy one year and bought tons of sweaters to do this to. So needless to say, I have lots of wool.

Lucky you! I’ll be sharing my woolie projects too. Happy Felting! 💜

You just need to get some Color Catcher/Grabber the next time you are in the laundry section. Throw one or two in and they will catch all the stray dye.

That's interesting, but it's actually fuzz coming off the other sweaters. I used a brush and it comes right off. I'll get some of that color grabber though just in case for other occasions. 💜💜💜
