I usually do use this method as I don't have a stockpile of resources, but it triggers me in the same spot when we have to use an upgrade at 99.9% or when we get 18 or 36 times crit on the last upgrade

I just did all the gear upgrades for Siver Surfer and got HOSED! I had 12 carbo left. Ended up buying 2x 300 from otherworld battle shop, and 2x 200 from shadowland shop and was still short. Hopefully T4 him after reset and WB runs today.

I'm using kind of hybrid technique. Auto upgrade one level at a time, switch gear and i think it saves my resources, as I'm getting lot of single digits this way. Upgrade gear 1 to 26, switch to gear 2 upgrade to 26, etc.

This method always saves me tons of mats. It just works for me like 96.7% of the time hehe. In my head it's like, every time u do an auto upgrade, the mutiply always goes up. So by manually going to each tier of upgrades i.e 21 to 22, 22 to 23 etc, it always resets the multiply number to the lowest possible. But that's just me and it's how i save T3 and T4 mats when upgrading

Tbh echo t4 is an amazing thing bc at her base kit she gives fire damage lead with some buffs, hawkeye uni gives speed types attack, defense, cleanse and few more. If she becomes a good pvp character or proc friendly, she is gonna triple dip. Im going to t4 her immediately bc she can help my jean and gwen at black swan (and angel if i can get a rage for him bc i really like him)

I decided to upgrade Madelyn's gears and I initially used the just over 5600 Carbonadium I had. It seems like the total cost for her gears will be about 6000 or slightly over. Not too bad, I think.

when i do it i always upgrade the gear with the lowest percentage incase i get a big crit, that way you always get the most out of crits

He's a shill for Netmarble, so he has to run damage control and make it seem like it doesn't work so others don't keep trying and it doesn't get out as much... Question. Would you have still focused on Gladiator for the experiment if the initial video focused on a different character? Or would you have tested the experiment using the same character as the video for the sake of ruling out differences that might otherwise affect the result?

Takes times, but I've had best luck ranking up by doing a single roll, rotating, single roll, rotating... until all gear is upgraded.

this is exactly when people are NOT T4-ing characters. They release so much T4s every update yet the T4 materials you use to T4 a character fluctuate so much you can barely T4 one a full update

Ok now that someone made a video about it i can tell, i use this method for years and i can assure it works, its way less costly, but i use another method, i roll each one off them till the last stage then, if i got a crit i continue, if not i go to the next one, always workd preety fine for me, it saved me a lot of materials

As someone who used to do something similar to this all the time. It doesn't help much. The auto saves so much time. Plus, it doesn't give as much anxiety. It's nice when something works out, but it's rare. Constantly hoping it hits just saps your joy. The big hits only happen around 86-95%. It can happen lower, but VERY rarely. Honestly, I think it hits the same in auto.

what I di is when no cri I go to the other one . normal crits I keep on 3 times . and go to the next one . that way syper crits "hopefully" happens early on . and not in the end like that

I have done this since T3s. What you are doing wrong is that you need to always switch to the lowest completed gear. For example, when you were at 95% and it popped a 36x crit, you should have switched to the lowest gear so that 36x would have been way more for you.

I always do the gears manually, not always work, sometimes it is good, some otha times in the days it's not so I leave it and try another time. And I think it's better than automatically. Hint when you don't get crit for long try another gear or two you don't try on them cause when you don't crit for a lot of trying it's more chance to crit in next ones so you try on the left gear you didn't try so if crit you win a whole gear not in like 80% of a gear that you won't need much to spend materials on. Crit I mean the highest number not 5x one.

I normally do a gear a day for 25 days. So all the roll overs add up so I don't have to wait the 10 days or so for a T4

I use to do manual upgrades for t2 and t3 cause on average I was only spending about 70% of my resources as apose to the amount I would use autoing all the gears 😂 so I believe it from personally experience

I tried that with Mystique T4, and incredibly work 😂 but I don't know, maybe only luck or maybe they patched. If the gear didn't get me a crit, change to another in that momento, but press on cancel and go to another

Honestly before any rolls the math is already a sham. Most materials can be farmed if one just looks. There are only a handful of exceptions. Premium bios, because that's where they want people to spend money (hence a lack of low star Rank Up tickets as well). Energy based OB's. Can be found but to a much lesser extent than physical. I think it's intentional, they know their math here. But most. I am at most times near maxed out on any item in my inventory or can be if I choose to. Because I know where to farm them if need be. T4 materials for example are a little more difficult but once you have characters that can comfortably clear WBL and just do it each day it eventually stacks up. Same with T3 then, even Books. I never had a problem with that one. I just used 2 different up (because the inventory cap is part of the sham) and almost have them replenished just by playing the right WBU (also quickly earning the tokens and those OB's there). The sham is "plus costs". Gold namely. I could rank up a ton of characters in any given session if it weren't for that. Noting I farm all gold chances in the game day and District is at L10 right now. Gold drop is above 50%. This shouldn't be a problem yet? Regardless if the ratio is lower or higher it is rigged either way to knock out your Gold stores and put you in a bind. Then add "item plus costs". That's the multiple items in unison that are also used somewhere else in the game, Craft for example to come up with the other items you need for ranking (plus Gold Cost here). So I am ranking Captain Marvel yesterday. I just broke her out beating Knull for the first time. I stopped at L76. Not enough items? Nope. Plus Gold costs. So I now I am just be waiting on her and this is with the understanding she is a cheap character to rank up. But because of the fluctuating cost it doesn't matter. It doesn't totally matter how you roll it either because you are still getting sacked on a multiplier. What's 1xK less or more, right? Take a look at Cards. Crafting is so cool because it's one of the few places you don't have to spend Gold. If you farm Rift all the time you have more than enough, key words, crafting cubes. Right? Except you have to make those 6 star cards and that costs, yep Gold. But it's cheap to Craft them, even 1 stars? Actually it is the plus cost to attain them in the first place that stacks here. At any rate what happens with me is a then never have equal to or more 6 star cards then I do crafting cubes. Should you then use a method like this? Alex, you know math and odds here. You got this "now". What if you ran this through an app say 100k times? Then you ran the other method 100k times? Say a simulator. Right, it wouldn't shake out this way. You would have more or less on either side of the test but regardless as said, you STILL get sacked for a cost one way or another. For fun I can understand but there is no rob the rich give to the poor exploit here. It's an excepted eyesore. I know they do it. I know of games that don't. I know they why do it. It's like going to the stores and seeing bags of peanut butter cups. Then looking over at the slats of peanut butter cups and punching into the calculator to realize overall buying the slats yields more cups for less money than buying the bag. The bag sells more though. Because it looks convenient. Slats sell for less because less of them sell because they do not seem convenient. But? When you factor all this and the tax burden you aren't coming out ahead no matter what, even in the case where you got more for less. Really you got in a rob Peter to pay Paul situation each time you did it. The small percentage was just sort of an illusion of comfort and maybe a feeling of personal victory over a grand system. So I'm not saying don't do stuff like this. It's a game. It's about fun. A lot of this game is based in Keno and Keno fun. But you always being jacked and that's the truth. I haven't found a real exploit in this game yet. Not like the big Marvel Avengers Alliance bug for those that remember it. But what I am saying is you will pay as you do in the real world off one end or the other because like real life this is a pay to play system no matter how approach it. Same as any casino too. The House always wins.

Bro this is what I do: auto from 25 to 28, but watch the upgrades closely. If the auto goes crit, I move on to the next gear. If the auto doesn't crit, I'll move on to auto from 28 to 29. If the auto goes crit, I move on to the next gear. So on an so forth.

Beat Knull for T-4 material instead, build up your roaster and cards. Don't bother to waste your crystal on unlocking world boss, better to save it and spend on getting good premium cards/uniform.

I SWEAR I KNEW IT and I thought I might just make things up in my head. I noticed for T2 I need less bios with manual and with t3 and t4 the first 2 upgrades (level 21-22 and level 26-27) needs usually not more than 10 upgrades and if I do auto it most of the time already uses from the beginning 5-20 upgrades and the test is cheaper as well I fking new it. I thought im retarded but I kept doing it except a few times and finally I know I didnt make it up in my head

Im gonna illogically say the T4 discount is rigged because in my case i got wolverine T4 to the same cost as 25% discount T4, which you might say is just lucky rng with logan But.. in the gear upgrades for all 8 T4s normal cost i had including nativeT2s (25-26-27) its like ×1 to ×7 max BUT for both the 25% and 40% discount it wont even go lower than ×7 SMH
