True you're the man when it comes to Demon and DBD, but this is not how to play Survivor in this game and with your big reach you may encourage more people to play "lone wolf" style leading to more frustation for others or losses in solo queue. This was not the "biggest solo carry" but poor team coordination, luck, coupled with your knack for headshots vs. a Demon that was obviously less experienced/lower level. Any good Demon (such as yourself) would have 1v1ed you to death early or possessed you and ran you into the storm when you were busy looking for matchsticks. Sticking together as Survivor in this game is key - share resources, lower fear levels, get a boost with Leaders and Supports, and get objectives done more efficiently as a team. What if your team went down early or took too long to get the map pieces? What if someone chose Annie to work with you and boost your ranged damage? There is an argument to be made about split pushing, but that's better done in pairs with 2 cars, or with Pablo who's usually the lone wolf at times due to being largely invisible to the Demon. In this case, a proper split push would have been you starting the other objective at the same time as your teammates. Again, a good Demon would have 1v1ed you to death and if the objectives were closer together they could have made it back to stall the rest of your team. I've been playing Survivor and Demon 50/50 since launch. I'm no expert nor have the reach you do, but I've been studying up on proper play through experience, streamers, and the subreddit for the game. We need to protect this community and not let it fall into the same pitfalls as DBD. Just wanted to say my piece because this was frustrating to watch, especially you badgering your team for ammo in the final phase instead of dropping them something since they were just resurrected with limited resources, then not paying attention to Evil Ash right in front of you wrecking them and the Necronomicon. Understand we're all still learning how to play this game most effectively, and I'll still be looking out for your content.

This is 100% spot on. I enjoy true and his content but his survivor play is way off. It only works vs bad demons and this one was clearly very bad. It spawned portals and never possessed a unit. Just wasted its energy letting true one shot it all.

I agree that I'd rather see less "lone wolves" in solo que as it could become quite a problem where the whole team splits up and just gets picked off one by one. The Hunters are very strong but can be even more potent with a leader, as you mentioned, and the couple games True has lost (fairly), the team played together. Vs the many many times hes picked off a henry the red tryna 1v1 the map.

I think he said in video that it's unoptimal, but its more fun against less experienced players, because sweating super hard leads to boring steamroll matches. I'm sure as people get better at demon and survivor this will happen less

The problem is that, if the survivors play together the demon has very little chance of winning even playing flawlessy. The survivors must be rebalanced because coordinated they are too strong and powerful for every demon player.

Lets be honest.. Demon player was extra bad. He wasnt putting any pressure all game at all. Only level 20 when its already almost very endgame. :D

You have a bad habit of asking for ammo and never dropping your useless ammo near team XD also you still rely on ranged to much with basic… means you spend more then u build most of the time giving less ammo for late game if it’s a single basic use melee also hit F more u get I-Frames remember it’s free safe dmg. :)

I couldn't imagine being the poor demon player. This was annoying to watch. You are saying how you're not even familiar with survivor and you're basically solo carrying and one shotting everything.

He had a couple clutch plays for sure especially at the end with the revives and some good shots but definitely didn't solo carry lol. Was completely useless until second objective and also watched his teammates get slaughtered five feet away while he's fighting basic units saying "where's the boss" while Evil Ash was chopping them to bits right next to him lol. Edit: no shade to him though. He says himself he's still learning and he's got a really solid shot that could carry most games

Hunters are just gamebreakers. Grey revolver, almost 1k dmg headshot. Enough stamina to dodge almost everything the demons throws at you. If the demon posses some of ur teammates just 2 shots and he is free. If are in fear you just drop ur gun and u are good to go.

They are strong to be tools for the demon. Most games I lost as survivors are because of an unstoppable possessed hunter. Although it is easily countered by just dropping your gun when you are max fear. Very important for hunters to manage their fear or be on guard to drop their gun

I think it might be yeah. The rarity in this game is kinda misleading. Like yeah higher rarity items deal more damage but there's more to take into account and a grey can still be just as strong. Damage is less significant in comparison to balance bar damage, and prolly dismemberment too. Haven't really figured out how to use the dismemberment system to my advantage but it seems highly effective. Don't know the stats of the spear but I'd wager a guess that it has low dismemberment *and* low balance bar damage because its a spear. Prolly does decent damage with high attack speed, but the other factors take over precedence. That's why the meta seems to be heavy balance bar weapons like the fireaxe and sledge hammer. Although, for me if I'm a hunter I like to take fast weapons over heavy ones typically (idk if that's a good idea it just makes sense to me). Since warriors are going to be able to utilize heavy weapons a lot more effectively than me, and its really just cuz I really like some of the fast weapons tbh lol. And here the damage does help a lot, because you can deal with unpossessed minions without using your gun, saving that for possessed/boss. Although I usually use the hand axe if I can choose. Fast attack speed, good attack combos, decent balance/dismemberment damage. I think the combos for the spear might be why its bad too. The combo finisher is pretty slow. Also take into account that if you don't heavy attack you don't take advantage of aoe damage if multiple minions are surrounding you, while light attacking with a handaxe still swings horizontally and therefore does "aoe". Idk tho this is just my rambling from what I've experienced from my limited time playing (level 21ish Evil Dead 2 Ash rn; play survivor more than demon). tl;dr don't take it as fact but my observation is that the spear is ineffective due to multiple reasons.

@@TangoMang0 Purple spear is definitely better than anything grey. The ttk increase from the attack speed on a melee build trumps grey axe/sword for sure. Was playing arthur and the purple spear was killing way faster than my grey sword while also having really good range. It has near 360 heavies too that can go around skeleton shields at close range. Most underrated weapon imo

I haven't really had much experience with melee builds (Although I am planning on it, I do have a level 15 Arthur, just haven't played him lately). From my perspective of running a ranged build i just haven't had good experience with the spear, but I'ma give it a shot on that build as well, why not. I honestly have relatively limited experience with using the spears so it could go differently, especially since I have a better grasp on the game now. Awesome to know that they work well in melee builds though since I suspected that melee builds would always focus on heavy balance bar damage weapons.

They need to change that Dodge mechanics... Make it skill... 2 stacks and 15 sec CD or smth... Survs just exploiting so much... Maxing Stamina and Dodging forever meanwhile other survs doing w/e they can... Survs are just strong... Like in DBD... Demon is weak... Hunters should be nerfed a lot

lol are u kidding ? the demons are more fast, melee without stamina, and strongers too, u can wipe out a team very fast in the beginning of the game using a demon lv2 ou 3, and u complaining about the dodge ? the dodge u can use just 3 ou 2 times and done, back to infinite nonstop hits from the demon on survivor, ohh, and the melee from the demon has much greater reach, the survivors are weak
