I know you have released many a fish. So, now and again it’s perfectly ok to keep/harvest what we catch. TPW says it’s ok and God Almighty provided it too. I don’t blame you for keeping the 24.5” spec. No need to apologize bro for keeping that spec. It will be ok! Happy for you! Keep making these awesome videos bro!

😎What it DO?! Awesome content.💯 Thanks for proving that the bite is still fire even in a rough surf. I actually believe the bite is better when its like that. Waves constantly kicking up the bait. Also the fact that moving around helps find the fish. You definitely deserved that fish. No need to apologize. Keep slangin that thang. PEEAACCE!🤙🏾

Hey Ruben love the videos. I was wondering how do you knew where the first gut or sand bar is? Is there a way to tell my looking or do you feel it out. Thanks
@TexasAllWaterFishing Жыл бұрын
Yes it's where the water breaks and makes waves. The waves break on the sand bars.

K between what months can you catch sheepshead redfish and speckled trout😊
@TexasAllWaterFishing Жыл бұрын
You can catch sheepshead all the time around structure but during spring the run thick off the jetties & you can catch an ez limit with live shrimp. And you can catch all 3 there
@todddreher1220 Жыл бұрын
So where you at San Luis Pass at the end. How far out should you wait and how far out were you fishing?
@TexasAllWaterFishing Жыл бұрын
Don't focus so much on location, focus on water clarity & bait. The bait will dictate where you should fish. The fish will move so you can fish one location once & go back & nothing is there. The 1st spot on the west end where I fished didn't produce but the next morning it was on fire. As far as how far you should go depends on bait. I always hit the 1st sandbar & sometimes if the fish are there I don't have to leave. If I'm not catching what I'm looking for I'll slide down the same sandbar to see if I can find them. If I still can't find them I'll go to the 2nd sandbar. Sometimes I'll go the 3rd but not often. Keep in mind you have to be there before sunrise because sometimes the bite might only last just a little while after the sun comes up.
@todddreher1220 Жыл бұрын
@@TexasAllWaterFishing yeah I'm always usually there before the sun comes up. Dan about the fish location yes I know about that. Where there's Bait fish and going to be fish. But when the waves are rough like that you can't really tell if there's fish or not. But anytime I'm down in Galveston or Jamaica Beach usually and I'm in the Serb I'm always seeing mother on top of right off the top of the surf. And seeing stuff around me. I'm from Ohio some really used to freshwater fishing but always with the Maryland and fish The Saltwater there any Atlantic which is different than fishing here in the Gulf. The flounder up there AR 20lbs which is common. I've been here a short time and my buddy who is showing me how to do things ended up having to move away because of his job. Stop trying to figure all this out because the videos I've watched and try duplicating just don't work. Don't get me wrong I've got some big ones under my belt but not consistently.
@TexasAllWaterFishing Жыл бұрын
It can be hit & miss when it's really hot out but with the fall things should be more consistent. I prefer kayak fishing, there's so much more you can explore & learn about targeting different species different times of the year
@todddreher1220 Жыл бұрын
@@TexasAllWaterFishing yeah I miss my kayak. I used to go up and on Armand Bayou Karen Pasadena on red of Clear Lake. I'll tell you you get both fresh and saltwater in there top top small red small trout bath blue cat Channel cat and a few other species. When you get into places we'd never get into by foot and wear their housing a lot of fish and big fish. Can adult areas huge gators up to 18 ft. There is one that was 20 ft that was killed in there. Game- wardens found out about it and they were able to locate the guy and arrested him. Never had a chance to take out into the Gulf yet that would be fun. Make sure you got plenty of line and a good anchor. We figured shall enough and anchor so you don't get towed 5 miles. LOL
@ETuss713 Жыл бұрын
With the surf rough like that why not go wade Christmas or drum bay?
@TexasAllWaterFishing Жыл бұрын
Because I wanted to fish the surf & the surf wasn't supposed to be that rough.
