Boys it's called football. You mean in a player's lifetime he has never kicked a football.. every team should man up and find within their ranks somebody else who can kick a football.. do you think we had a specialized kicker when we were kids.. everybody could kick the football.. next thing you'll want to legislate spare Waterboys in case the original Waterboy sprains his ankle someone can step in on a temporary basis to handle the water bottles.. you guys are going down the wrong alley.. it's a game it's called football get on with it.. no whining about a hurt kicker.

You do know kicking is hard right? Like there is a whole timing thing and you need enough leg power and accuracy to know how to kick it right? I played soccer for 8 years, could punt the ball 70 yards yet couldn't do a kick on the ground more than 15 yards... a lot of guys never had to actually kick the ball. When I was in high school one of my soccer teammates was the football teams kicker lol. They asked me to be the punter too lol. I already had a injury in my kicking leg and didn't want to put it through more pain so I turned it down lol. Btw in hockey we have emergency back up goalies in the pro levels.
