I would agree that hauling that trailer that is 39.25' long with 4 slide outs would require a dually. I am pulling a Cougar 2022 316RLS with a High Country with the upgraded rear suspension package and have zero issues. I did switch to Lithium batteries and switched to 20 pound propane tanks. 1 issue I would also call out is the bigger the camper, the harder it is to find campsites.

It always seems in these types of videos that the actual axle capacities are ignored when discussing payload. That payload capacity is spread between front and rear axles and you have to be mindful of both when figuring out what you can tow.

If Kamala gets elected, forget about towing anything. It'll be too expensive. If Trump gets in there, I'll be looking at a 20 foot max non slide travel trailer but Its got o have dual axles. Towing with F250 Deisel and I plan on a huge summer vacation out West with it.

I always vote dually for a fifth wheel. Especially one that’s 40’ long.

These SRW are capable of towing these without issue but if you plan on full-timing or lug a lot of crap, that dually will be a better fit. These trucks have grown so much that SRW have similar stability compared to Duallies of a decade ago 👍🏾

Cougar is nice, but the Brinkley layout like that is so much better. Don't think it's worth saving $15k max to go with the Cougar over it. Red drums signify ABS.

Very true but you can get deep discounts on Cougar, dealers love the Brinkley more than the customers 😅

Nice truck. I am considering another 3/4 ton, but cant decide if I want gas or Diesel again. I had the 2020 Sierra 2500 Denali Duramax and loved it, just the seats were rock hard. These trucks are big and heavy, just not sure if ill be happy with the 6.6 gas for power and hoping the seats are more cushioned. Im not pulling anything heavy. Any thoughts?
